This large modern 36m2 privately owned studio apartment in the prestigious Les Jardins D'Elisa building ideally suits two guests, and it has a double bed and also a double sofa bed to accommodate up to four if required. It is so close to the Monte Carlo attractions that a car isn't necessary! The 14.25 m2 highly secure 1st floor private garden and terrace is popular with guests for relaxing in the Riviera sunshine, and it is especially attractive for those guests travelling with children. The apartment and garden is actually on the first floor, (not the ground floor) and is not accessible to the public nor other guests so security is maintained. Guests also often enjoy the fabulous roof garden on the top of the building with it's panoramic views of the Med.The apartment has the look of a nice spacious hotel room with an en suite bathroom and a fully fitted and equipped kitchen with a dining area for four. Decor is bright and contemporary, with tiled floors throughout and neutral tones and dark-wood furnishings. There is a laundry room conveniently located on the premises. It also has a garage with private parking space.
Every convenience is within minutes walk of the apartment; cafés, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, shops, and daily French-style markets. The Boulevard des Moulins in Monaco is mere steps away from this apartment, and getting around the Principality is easy as there is a very efficient, regular bus service. You are within 10 minutes walk to the delights of Monte Carlo-Grimaldi Forum, casino, beach, shopping, clubs, bars, restaurants, cafes, harbour etc.

The main part of the town consists of handsome Belle Époque houses with ornate entrances, and it can be difficult to determine where Monaco starts or Beausoleil ends as the border meanders across streets and footpaths.
The beach, shopping, casino, restaurants, bars,clubs are within 10 mins walk away from the apartment, with public elevators available.
You can also use the apartment as a base to ski the French/Italian Alps; visit the local vineyards; discover the delights of the Cote D'Azur - Cannes, St Tropez, Nice, Eze, La Turbie, or tour nearby Northern Italy. Nearby Ventimiglia is a popular destination during the summer for tourists spending their vacation along the French Riviera. The Friday street market, which takes place along the seafront of the new town is a must!

Nice is the closest airport.....The Low Cost airlines fly direct to Nice Airport . In addition Marseille, Toulon and Genoa airports are assessable to Monte Carlo by train. Monte Carlo train station: 15 min walk to apartment.
The bus from Nice airport to Monte Carlo takes 40 minutes from the airport. The apartment is 10 mins walk from the bus stop near the casino.
The TGV goes to Nice, and then a 15 minute connection by train to Monte Carlo is required.
Car hire is available at Nice airport. (book in advance during high season) There is a 30 min drive to the apartment from the airport. Parking is available on request. Or for the more daring........take the helicopter from the airport to Monte Carlo!

Yes, we had a wonderful week. Spent a whole day at Monaco and visited the Museum of Oceanography. Also did the Fontveille area, including the rose gardens and a classic car auction in a Circus tent. Also of note were the Japanese Gardens and the Beausoleil Carnival evening parade. We got tickets for the Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra concert at the Grimaldi Forum - a superb evening. Other bus adventures were to Menton, Beaulieau, and Villefranche. We will recommend your place to our friends as an excellent base to see the Cote d' Azure. Regards, John & Sheila UK.
