Situated in the quiet, prestigious building 'B' of the development, this superior apartment provides the convenience of being on the same level as the reception area on entry from Avenue de Verdun, with being on the 12th floor level on looking out to sea. The large balcony, one of the very few not overlooked by others within the development, has a totally private, wrap-around aspect offering breathtaking panoramic views directly over the Mediterranean Sea and, to the side, views of local, beautiful Provencal-style terraced gardens. The Monte Carlo region
Apartment Bougainvilliers in Les Jardins d’Elisa is located in the beautiful Belle Époque town of Beausoleil – previously part of the Principality of Monaco and known as Monte Carlo Supérieur. Beausoleil means beautiful sun and enjoys over 300 days of sunshine every year. It is difficult to differentiate between Monaco and Beausoleil as the border criss-crosses the pretty streets unnoticed .
Beausoleil benefits from such great weather that it is officially classed as a “Station Climatique” - a place which has weather that is 'beneficial to health'. The lifestyle in Beausoleil is every bit as good as you would expect from its location and evocative name. It certainly is a town of “fine or beautiful sunshine” and has one of the best climates to be found in France. Its streets are lined with regal palm trees and filled with interesting markets, galleries, traditional shops, cafes, bars & restaurants with varied cuisines. There are no 'high street' shopfronts in Beausoleil!
Nearby is the historic Gustav Eiffel-designed market (indoor and outdoor) open 7 days a week. Local supermarkets (Monaco and Beausoleil) also offer delivery service. A short walk brings you to the beautiful Larvotto beaches with safe swimming, water sports, wonderful restaurants ,bars & cafes and, each evening, sophisticated outdoor dining and entertainment .
The area is surrounded by exotic gardens freely open to the public and has spectacular walks and excursions. Monaco is home to the world famous Monte Carlo Casino and the fabulous Port Hercule. Exciting events take place all-year-round, the Grand Prix, the Tennis Masters, the start of the Tour de France (2009), Ironman, Monaco Yacht Show to name just a few.
Beausoleil / Jardins D'Elisa area
Both Nice and Menton are just 15 minutes away by train, or you can choose to visit either by bus travelling along the lower Corniche and experiencing the wonderful views (for €1 per journey!). The historic 'perched' villages of Eze and La Turbie are a short distance away and offer breathtaking mountain-top views of the sea, Italy and the Alps. The quaint Italian town of Ventigmiglia, which holds Europe's biggest market each Friday, is 20 minutes away by train.
*** 2009/2010 SKI SEASON - JUST AROUND THE CORNER *** This property is 1 hour drive to Isola 2000 and to several of the best ski stations on the Italian side of the Alps. Ski all morning - sunbath on beach in afternoon - enjoy great nightlife in evening!
How to get there
Nice Airport, the second busiest in France, is serviced by Ryanair, Easyjet, Aer Lingus, Virgin, BA, BMI amongst many other airlines.
This property is a 30-minute drive from Nice Airport. There is a direct coach link from Nice Airport which takes approx. 35 minutes. HeliAir Monaco takes 10 minutes & works out from €55 per person for a breathtaking helicopter trip with stunning views.
You can also go to Monaco directly from St. Pancreas Station in London by Eurorail, or drive and cross the Channel by ferry.
You can also fly to Marseilles and Genoa and go to Monaco by train. The train takes about two and half hours from both airports.
There is a regular rapid train service from Nice Central Railway Station - bringing you to Monte Carlo Railway Station in 15 minutes. It is a short walk to the apartment, taking the Beausoleil exit from the station.

We rent our apartment privately at very competitive rates. We maintain these very competitive rates by not using the services of an agent. Note our cleaning charges are INCLUDED in our rates.
All prices are in EURO. Bookings are subject to a 250 euro non-returnable deposit; full payment to be received 8 weeks before arrival.
Rates quoted are for up to 4 people. IMPORTANT NOTE: Although Apartment Bougainvilliers is spacious enough to accommodate 6 people, we do need ADVANCE NOTICE as living room furniture needs to be re-configured in advance to accommodate a 5th or a 6th guest. In the case of occupancy of a 5th or 6th guest, the EURO 250 refundable security deposit for breakages / damage / etc is increased to EURO 450.
