Suze is a quiet, relaxed and comfortable gite with easy access to castles, vineyards and the Morvan National Park. The gite has 2 bedrooms which can easily accommodate 2 couples or a family.
Beautiful and recently renovated this wisteria clad gite has loads of character and is situated in a tranquil riverside setting with a private bridge and orchard. The property is enclosed in a private walled garden.
The location is quiet and is suitable for lovely walks and fishing.
Local markets every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The Burgundy / Cote-d'Or region
Burgundy summers are usually dry and can be hot, perfect for sitting on the private bridge and enjoying the river. Autumn and winter are ideal for more serious cycling and walking, and enjoying the log fires.
Burgundy is an area rich in history, offering a wide variety of places to visit including the vineyards, Beaune ,markets, Chalon sur Soane, the monastic remains of Cluny, and the medieval city of Dijon. Burgundy food and wine are excellent.
Brocantes and markets are held locally on most week-ends in July and August .The property borders the Morvan national park and is within easy reach of Paris.
Beaune area
Locally there are a wide variety of activities available and many places of interest including the Beaune Hospice, Bernard Loisseau restaurant and the Cajun music festival in August in Saulieu.
Roman ruins and and an ampitheatre are located in Autun. ( 20 kms) Music festivals and art exhibitions are held throughout the region in the summer months.

Suze is located in a quiet , farming friendly hamlet with 30 houses spread over a wide area. The charming town of Arnay Le Duc is only 9kms away, it has 3 supermarkets, 2 tabacs and an excellent bakery. 2 km walk to the local bar at Manlay.
How to get there
-Road access is easy via the motorway from the UK, Belguim and Holland.
-Calais is 600 km, Le Harve is 500 kms, and Caen is 550km.
-The London Eurostar connects fast with TGV trains operating via Paris to Dijon, (40 mins by car).
-Beaune 30 mins by car and Le Creusot 1 hour by car.
-Lyon airport is approx. 2 hours drive to the south and Geneva airport is 3 hours away.
-Hire cars are available at all these destinations.
