This authentic Normandy style built. beautiful house will accommodate comfortably 8 people and is completely unique in several aspects: Proximity of main roads but at the same time completely isolated, outstanding views, large private garden.

Enjoy a very peaceful and quiet time as the only sounds disturbances you could hear is from the cows!

This house is the perfect holiday destination for a family with small children.

The children will enjoy the full set of swings with slides as well as the 10ft trampoline.

Access: There is an access to the A13/E46 autoroute only 3 miles away. This motorway will take you directly to Cherbourg, Ouistreham, or Dieppe, Boulogne and Calais via le Pont de Normandie.

The Normandy / Calvados region

The Pays d'Auge is renowned for its production of cider and calvados. There are large distilleries but still plenty of small producers. Its climate is favourable to breeding of dairy-cattle and production of excellent cheeses like Camember, Pont-l'Ev�que and Livarot. You will discover all these products on numerous farmers markets as you drive around the region.

If you feel like going out, you are a 15 minutes away from the glamourous and vibrant Deauville which is plenty of live restaurants. If you look for a quieter place, you can always go for a romantic diner in the charming Honfleur.

You can enjoy walk tours on little paths le Pays d'Auge is full of. There is plenty of sightseeing (Castles, D-Day beaches, monuments, pitoresque towns...) in the area and we will provide you with all the necessary information you may require.

There are more than 10 golf course in the area of which 4 are less than 10 miles away from the house. There are loads of tennis courts and horse riding sites nearby.

Beaumont en Auge is a charming little town with a lot of art and antique shops plus a famous "restaurant gastronomique". There is a farmers market every Sunday and Monday in Pont l'Eveque

“Avoid, as in our experience, there is better value and higher standards of interior furnishing available elswhere.” Interior fittings/furnishings were poor,damaged,worn and not up to expectation or comparable to the standards experienced in many previous rentals in France during the past ten years. The property was not fully prepared for the rental. In view of these factors it was decided that we come home early as we were not prepared to endure two weeks at the property. We are devasted that our holiday ended in this way

“beautiful house in a wonderful setting” We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Cour Bertrand- the house is in a wonderfully quiet setting, yet still only 10 minutes' drive from Pont L'Eveque, and it has a fantastic view across the valley to the nearby village. We enjoyed many happy afternoons in the garden,while the children played on the swings and trampoline, or played 'dens' in the woodland. The house is also really well placed if you want to visit Deauville, or Rouen, or the Normandy beaches. The owner was very helpful and gave some great tips-including the patisserie in Pont L'Eveque, which had fabulous cakes.

“Authentic French accomodation in a picturesque and serene location” La Cour Bertand is a beautiful, large house in the countryside of Normandy. We loved the location atop a hillside looking out towards Beaumont en Auge and the green pastures. We adored hearing the church bells and cows each morning. The children enjoyed exploring the large grounds of the property and the swing, slide and trampoline. It was also a great location for exploring Normandy and its many attractions. Highly recommend!
