The North Wales region
Anglesey has so much for you to see and do with a range of activities from sailing to walking. The island has so many attractions with something for everyone. Anglesey has such a fascinating history with ancient sites to visit that remind us that this part of Wales was once home to the Druids.
The landscape is so varied with superb a coast line to explore as well as rolling countryside. The temperate climate ensures mild winters and good summers.
The nearby town of Beaumaris lies in the banks of the Menai Strait and has an historic past. It's castle is a fine example of Edward's North Wales defensive ring of castles.
The town is also popular for its' festivals and events. Sailing and yatching is popular with an annual regatta being held. Beaumaris is ideal for touring the island with many places of interest to visit. Snowdonia is nearby with varied and sometimes rugged scenery to enjoy.

"An idyllic getaway"
We have stayed at the cottage twice and have thoroughly enjoyed both times there. It is located in the heart of Beaumaris with access on foot to the lovely village centre, shops, galleries and restaurants. The decor is extremely tasteful and stylish and we have enjoyed relaxing in front of the wood burner as well as bbqs in the cottage garden. The thoughtfully restored property has all the charm of a quaint village property with exceptional comfort. There are great local guides including a fantastic book of coastal walks which help to explore the island. We will be back!
Thank you for your feedback. We look forward to booking again for you soon.

The cottage was clean and bright and well appointed, in an ideal position for exploring the town, the only down side was the lack of parking. The town itself is a great place with all you will need for your stay and also in a good position for exploring the rest of Angelsey and North Wales.
You are right about the parking, the street is too narrow to allow parking outside the property. We are happy to provide a map with nearby options. Many thanks for your feedback, we look forward to booking for you again soon.
