Amelie Cottage is situated in Rating Row, right at the heart of the delightful seaside town of Beaumaris, just a short walk from the Castle, the sea and many shops and great restaurants. Historic buildings, relaxing walks, glorious scenery and some of Anglesey's best attractions are all within walking distance.
The lovely historic town of Beaumaris has lots to offer with its elegant Georgian buildings, the medieval Castle, Gaol & Courthouse, and many great places to eat including The Red Boat Ice Cream Parlour, a great place to meet and enjoy a delicious ice cream, a Sandwich, Panini or Coffee.
The elegant, tranquil award winning Loft Restaurant occupies the eaves of the oldest part of Ye Olde Bulls Head Inn once frequented by Charles Dickens. Then, there is the Pier which is a great place for young and old to go crabbing or just sit and enjoy the views of the Menai Strait and Snowdonia mountains. Beaumaris has something for everyone!

The spacious modern fully fitted kitchen/diner, with an electric Range cooker, microwave, toaster, fridge (with ice box), washing machine and dishwasher, so you can spend more time relaxing and less time doing the dishes! This dining kitchen also has a kitchen table and four chairs.
This bright, fresh and welcoming lounge contains two comfortable sofas - a three-seater and a two-seater and is equipped with a wood burner effect electric fire, great for a cosy winter evening. In addition to a 48in LCD flatscreen TV and DVD player, there is a selection of DVDs, books and puzzles on the book shelf.
Downstairs shower room
The shower room, which is next to the kitchen, contains a glass-fronted walk-in shower, heated towel rail, hand basin and toilet.
This double bedroom looks out over the rear garden and contains a large wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is a hairdryer in the wardrobe.
This spacious twin bedroom overlooks Rating Row and contains two single beds, two bedside cabinets and a large wardrobe.
The main bathroom contains a large corner bath, hand basin, heated towel rail, shaver socket and toilet.
The lounge has a 48in LCD TV with built in Freesat, DVD player with a selection of DVDs, books and puzzles on the book shelf.
The small paved area is a lovely sun trap, and leads to an enclosed lawned garden, with sitting and barbecue areas. Although there is no designated parking immediately outside Amelie Cottage there is ample parking close by.

Local Area information
Beaumaris has many other attractions besides Beaumaris Castle and the splendid pier, there's a village green on the seafront and a children's playground adjacent to the castle walls. Beaumaris also has a programme of events all year round – a music festival, regattas, a bonfire party, Victorian Christmas street party, New Year's Eve fireworks. Beaumaris is a wonderful holiday destination at any time of year.
There are plenty of attractions in the area including two golf courses – the 18 hole, par 71, Henllys Hall or the 9 hole, par 68, Baron Hill. Sea fishing, wreck fishing trips and pleasure boat cruises around Puffin Island to view the bird sanctuary and seal colonies, not to mention the beautiful coastline with its sandy beaches and coastal paths.

A lovely cottage
“A lovely cottage, very clean and well stocked with all your needs. We found it very cosy and relaxed……….. Our children loved to go crabbing and very much enjoyed the fishing trip - in which they caught lots of mackerel for tea!!! The Red boat have 'fab' ice-cream. Overall a fab holiday with lot's to do !!!”
