The Villa Romane is a spacious stone-built holiday villa in Provence with its own magnificent Roman-style colonnaded circular swimming pool. The villa is superbly located, offering wonderful panoramic views of Provence and the Rhone valley.
The villa can sleep 12 guests in its 6 double bedrooms. The villa also boasts four bathrooms, two large reception rooms and a fully fitted kitchen. The standard of accommodation in this holiday rental is very high.
The spectacular circular pool and poolside terrace is a real feature of this fantastic French holiday villa, and coupled with the views from the terrace, can only be described as paradise!

The Languedoc-Roussillon / Gard region
Located only 1.5 kilometres away from our nearest town Beaucaire the villa is ideally located to enjoy the town’s beautiful ruined castle overlooking the Rhone. The marina in the town full of charming colourful boats of all shapes and sizes and is a perfect place to go for a bite to eat at the restaurants that border the Marina or simply just to take in the atmosphere. There are a number of great restaurants in the area and we will be happy to recommend some to you upon your arrival. There is also large supermarket within a mile of the villa which makes your shopping trips easy and stress free.
Beaucaire area
For those of you who are searching for a venue for that special holiday Villa Romaine is for you. The Villa has so much charm and character that when you are there you will wish to never go home. It really has all of the magical charms of Provenance that will make your holiday very special.
The main cities of Nimes and Montpelier are nearby for those who would like to venture further afield, or why not try the beautiful market town of Usez located a forty minute drive away. If you prefer staying closer to the Villa you will not be disappointed as the villa and its surrounding areas really have a lot to offer.

Further details indoors: The accommodation comprises a large entrance hall and sitting room, which leads to the dining room, and through to the salon complete with TV, SKY and DVD facilities. The comprehensively equipped kitchen will leave you wanting for nothing. There are 6 double bedrooms, 4 bathroom/shower rooms (all newly fitted) and 3 WCs. There is also a laundry room. The villa is bright and airy with huge rooms.
Further details outdoors: Outside the circular roof terrace is accessed by internal staircase up from 1st floor landing) with truly spectacular panoramic views. The terrace overlooks the gardens and the landscape. The beautiful circular swimming pool was built in the style of a Roman colonnaded arena and can be illuminated at night. The pool is over 26 feet (8m) in diameter and semi-circular steps lead down into it. There is also a fully fitted poolside kitchen, BBQ area, pool pond, mature gardens, plenty of safe parking spaces and a boules area.
The house, terraces and pool give you far-reaching panoramic views across the magnificent Rhone valley stretching for over 40 miles towards chic & fashionable St Remy de Provence.
