Home description
This is a modern property with the more discerning clientèle in mind. Designed to be practical and easy to maintain, this property will suit two couples or a family with children, it is also fine for two people sharing. Both bedrooms have en suites and the kitchen is fitted with modern facilities.
Although the house is offered for self catering, maid service is available daily, just that little bit of extra service that will make you feel that you are on holiday, that is provided at no extra cost.
The views of the bay and the surrounding mountains are simply fantastic and the proximity of restaurants shops and hotels all add to make this a very enviable location.

The Mahe region
Mahe is the main island of the Seychelles. This is where all services are located and where about 80% of the population live. The capital Victoria is located here and so is the main port and airport.
Mahe has some of the best beaches in the Indian ocean and of course the mountains are simply some of the lushest in the world. This is the most significant mid ocean granitic island, so expect a wide range of endemic flora and fauna here.
The sea surrounding Mahe offers some of the best dive sites in the Indian Ocean and there are many world class dive and fishing operations based on Mahe.
Beau Vallon area
Beau-Vallon is the touristic heart of the Seychelles. This is where the major hotels are situated. Le Meridien and the Hilton are all within a few hundred meters of the Boat House Villa. Here you will find a wide variety of restaurants, dive centres and also fishing and excursion operators.
The Beach is sheltered and offers perhaps the safest bathing in Mahe. This is the place to try your hand at water-sports of all kinds. At night this is where the affluent locals hang out.
How to get there
The Seychelles are now only nine hours from London if you fly direct with Air Seychelles from most European capitals including London and Paris. With Emirates and Qatar Airways a stop over in Dubai can become a two destinations holiday.
Boat House Villa is a thirty minute drive from Seychelles International airport and only ten minutes from the island's capital.

Further details indoors: This house has been designed to be ecologically sound. Local material was used in its construction and it is modelled on old creole style of keeping cool in the tropics. The wooden louvered shutters all around allow airflow and provide extra security.
Local wooden floor upstairs keeps in style with the creole spirit whilst downstairs the large Italian tiles gives the house a fresh and spacey feel. Modern bathrooms on both floors are to World standard.

This property would suit people who want to share or a largish family. The proximity of the beach is going to be particularly appealing to families with children.
