About the home

These are modern properties with the more discerning clientèle in mind. Designed to be practical and easy to maintain, the properties will suit two couples or a family with children. Most bedrooms have en suites and the kitchens are fitted with modern facilities.

Although the houses are offered for self catering, maid service is available daily, just that little bit of extra service that will make you feel that you are really on holiday.

The views of the bay and the surrounding mountains are simply fantastic and the proximity of restaurants, shops and hotels all add to make this a very enviable location.

The house has been designed to be ecologically sound. Local materials were used in its construction and it is modeled on old creole style of keeping cool in the tropics. The wooden louvered shutters all around allow airflow and provide extra security.

Local wooden floor upstairs keeps in style with the creole spirit whilst downstairs the large Italian tiles gives the house a fresh and spacey feel.

The Mahe region

Mahe is the main island of the Seychelles. This is where all services are located and where about 80% of the population live. The capital Victoria is located here and so are the main port and airport.

Mahe has some of the best beaches in the Indian Ocean and of course the mountains are simply some of the lushest in the world. This is the most significant mid ocean granitic island, so expect a wide range of endemic flora and fauna .

The sea surrounding Mahe offers some of the best dive sites in the Indian Ocean and there are many world class dive and fishing operations based on Mahe.

The Beau Vallon area

Beau-Vallon is the touristic heart of the Seychelles. This is where the major hotels are situated. Le Meridien and the Hilton are all within a few hundred meters of the Boat House Villas. Here you will find a wide variety of restaurants, dive centres and also fishing and excursion operators.

The beach is sheltered and offers perhaps the safest bathing in Mahe. This is the place to try your hands at water-sports of all kinds. The famous Boat House Restaurant is within walking distance.
