Primrose Cottage is a cosy and attractive 18th century, Grade II listed brick and stone cottage. It has been restored, decorated and furnished to a high standard with a comfortable and contemporary feel.

Downstairs is a beamed Sitting Room with an inglenook fireplace and a log burning stove (a basket of logs is provided during the winter months). There are two comfortable arm chairs and a three-seater sofa plus a window seat and stylish oak flooring. There is a Freesat HD TV with Blu-Ray player and a hi-fi that features an iPod dock. To help keep you entertained you will also find a selection of books, DVDs, games and puzzles.

Through an archway is the Dining Room, whose table can seat up to six people. It also has a window seat and a console table.

Through a second archway is the well-equipped Kitchen, which has an electic oven and gas hob, a dishwasher, washer/drier and fridge with ice-box. A good selection of quality pans, kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery is provided. Central heating and hot water are provided by a gas-fired boiler.

Up two steps from the living room is the double aspect Garden Room, with a further sofa and a door into the garden. A small freezer is available.

Upstairs (via a steeply curved staircase) you will find three bedrooms: a double with TV/DVD and window seat, a twin, also with a window seat, and a single.

The Bathroom has been updated and features a bath with shower over.

The rear garden has a paved terrace with steps leading to a gravelled seating area surrounded by flower beds, shrubs and trees. It is enclosed by a stone wall.

Children are welcome, and there are permanent retractable stair gates at both the top and bottom of the stairs. We have a cot and high chair that can be set out upon request.

Guests are welcome to make use of the wireless broadband facility.

The cottage is in easy strolling distance of Beaminster's bustling square, which offers a variety of independent shops and restaurants. Whilst it pre-dates the era of allocated parking, on-street parking is always available a little further up the road. Guests are welcome to access the internet via our WiFi connection.
