You will also find a radio with CD player & ipod docking station. A deck of cards, CDs, DVDs and books are provided should the weather be inclement!
The property private terrace overlooks and gives access to a small but beautifully tendered and designed garden shared with the owners.
A Coté is fully central-heated, with gas and electric cooking rings, electric oven, microwave and slow cooker and more.
Off-road parking.
The property is within walking distance of Beaminster Town centre, its pubs, cafés, award winning restaurants and shops. Yet it is surrounded by peaceful and stunning countryside. Perfect for all, from "foodies" to music and art lovers.

A two-bedroom cottage recently refurbished comprising a lounge/diner with French doors opening onto a private terrace and offering all that is needed and more for a splendid and comfortable holiday.
Large shower with seat, in a modern bathroom.
A Coté is all on one level with easy access to all rooms making it suitable for partially disabled persons.

A Coté is available all year-round on a weekly basis from Friday to Friday.
Short breaks are also available for a minimum of 3 nights running Fri/Sat/Sun nights at weekends. Midweek breaks are 4 nights running Mon/Tues/Wed/Thur.

Provisional reservations can be accepted by telephone and must be confirmed within 3 working days by sending a non refundable deposit of £40 per week, this can be paid by Cheque or PayPal.
The balance should be paid 4 weeks before your arrival date, or at time of booking if sooner. Payments can be made by Cheque, PayPal (please call for PayPal details), or Cash on arrival by prior arrangement.

The West Country / Dorset region

In the heart of Thomas Hardy's country, with lots of charm and numerous activities for the young and the young at heart, West Dorset is fantastic for the older person who just wants to chill in the relaxing West Dorset air but just as invigorating for the the younger generations.
Whether your preference is walking, cycling, horse riding or that idyllic picnic, you will find the perfect activity for you in West Dorset's beautiful countryside.
The jurassic coast is only a few miles from Beaminster, and Lyme Regis and its famous Cobb is only ½ hour away. Why not explore Charmouth and go fon a fossil hunt along its renowned beach.
West Dorset offers so many ancient site to explore: Lambert's Castle, Eggardon Camp, Cerne Giant, Dorchester Maiden Castle, Maumbury Rings, and the Poundbury Camp, and Brownsea Island one of the few remaining red squirels' santuary, to name but a few.
And when you have exercised enough it will be time to enjoy a traditional West Dorset Cream Tea.
The Beaminster area
With over 200 listed buildings in its historic centre, the tranquil town of Beaminster stands at the head of the Brit Valley and is a walker's paradise.
Beaminster and the surrounding area history is brought to life at the town museum, which holds permanent and seasonal exhibitions all year-round.
Every year the Beaminster Art and Music festival takes place during the last week of June and attracts many celebrities and followers.
A few miles away, the town of Bridport boasts a regular farmers' market, a beer and food festival every year and has even added a September Hat festival to its charm!
Mapperton House, Forde Abbey, Kingston Lacey, Chesil Beach, Abbotsbury tropical garden and the swanery and many, many more are all close to Beaminster and make a great day outing.
The young explorers will enjoy the Tank Museum at Bovington and Monkey World in Longthorns, both near Wareham. Maybe a Llama trek from New House Farm in Beaminster, or an encounter with Dinosaurs at Dorchester Museum.
There is so much to see and do!

The cleanest and best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in with a beautiful garden. Ideally located for exploring Devon and Dorset in all weathers, as we did!! yes it rained every day but still had fab time..2mins walk to friendly pubs and restaurants serving very good food..all in all a home from home and highly recommeded. Response: We are so glad you enjoyed yourselves despite the inclement weather. We hope we will see you again soon. |
