A fantastic six bedroom detached house with two living rooms, modern breakfasting kitchen, large dining room, four double bedrooms. two with en suite bathrooms, bunk room and single room, with a large enclosed garden and snooker and air hockey tables in the detached garage.

The property is ideal for large groups and families with two master double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, an additional two double bedrooms, a bunk room and a single room with juliet balcony. The large modern kitchen is fully equipped for cooking for large groups with a good sized kitchen table for informal dining for eight, there is also a dining room with a large extendable table. With two spacious living rooms the house is ideal for large groups of mixed ages.

As most guests don't use the garage for cars we have added a snooker table and air hockey table to make a games room, although there is still plenty of space for bikes, golf clubs etc.

There is also a utility room which can be entered directly through from the decked garden, (perfect when coming straight from the beach) and there is also a ground floor WC.

Port Perry has recently changed ownership and we have commenced improvements to the property which has long been a favourite for families and large groups visiting Beadnell. The property has been redecorated throughout, the garden has been landscaped and decked in areas.

Membership of the Ocean Club in Seahouses is included (there is an individual charge) with access to the Leisure Club (Swimming Pool, Sauna, Jacuzzi, Swimming Pool, Steam Room, Gym) perfect for rainy days/ burning off fish and chips!

The Northumberland region

The Northumberland coast with some breathtaking white sandy beaches is one of the UK's best kept secrets. Northumberland is one of the of the most beautiful counties and Beadnell provides a fantsatic base for exploring all that the region has to offer.

As the border county Northumberland has a number of castles and historic sites including Alnwick Castle (a short drive from Beadnell) which is home to the Percy family and features in a number of films including Harry Potter. Bamburgh castle which is approx 5 miles from Beadnell is one of the finest castles in the country.

The area is also perfect for exploring the Scottish Borders and Edinburgh is a fantastic day trip.

Beadnell

Beadnell is a very popular beach destination which appeals to young and old, from simple activities such as sand castle making on the large sandy beahch and rockpool exploring to the more adventurous kite surfing in Beadnell Bay or scuba diving with seals on the Farne Islands there is something to keep everyone entertained.

There are a good number of scenic walks from Beadnell and a number of golf courses within a short drive.

For seafood lovers we highly recommend heading to Seahouses for fish so fresh you can literally watch it coming in off the boats or Craster for some of the best kippers you have ever tasted.

"Lovely"

This as a great house for an extended family holiday. We were near enough to the beach for a stroll down with the dog . Our party varied in age from young toddler to grandparents and the house provided ample space for all. The 2 lounges were a bonus as it meant we had a playroom for the younger ones.

"Perfect for 2 families to share"

3rd time at this house, and have already booked for 2014. Close to the beach, enclosed garden, and two lounges! My only suggestion to improve would be to make one of the double rooms a twin room, so giving more flexibilty.

Thanks for the great review and look forward to welcoming you back again next summer. Best wishes Caroline

"wonderful"

Stayed at this lovely spacious property during school Easter holidays with extended family age ranged from 87 to 14 and a dog.The property was very well appointed, the layout was excellent and the smaller sitting room was just ideal for Gran when she needed that bit of peace and quiet!!! The fully enclosed garden was great for sitting out in the sunshine (we did get some) and safe for our dog.Port Perry is close to a beautiful beach that was great for morning runs with the dog. We all enjoyed the pool table and air hockey competitions we had in the games room/garage but the teenage lads did so particularly.
Lovely walks along the beach and dunes into Low Newton with great crab sandwiches and coffee at the Ship Inn. Also good food at the Joiners Arms in High Newton.
All the family wanted to live forever in this lovely property Caroline(owner) was very friendly and helpful ....we will be going back!!!!!

Thank you for the fantastic feedback, I am glad that you had a great week (and some sunshine!) look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
