Northern England region

The Northumberland coastline is a land far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in a county brimming with things to do and places to see amongst the most spectacular of landscapes.

Explore mile upon mile of the wonderful uncrowded golden sandy beaches and stunning countryside set amongst two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the rugged Northumberland National Park. Discover more castles than anywhere else in England, the birthplace of English Christianity on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, the historic World Heritage Site of Hadrian's Wall, stunning Alnwick Garden picturesque towns and villages and much more.

There are plenty of golf courses and lots of activities and some great walking.

Beadnell

Beadnell is situated on the North Northumberland coastline, about 3 miles south of Seahouses. It is well known for its sandy beaches, tranquillity and superb scenery.

The historic village of Beadnell lies just a few miles east of the main A1 road that links Edinburgh with Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Despite this, it remains off the beaten track and as a result has not been spoilt by over-development.

"Disappointed"

This house was in a fairly new housing estate where most of the properties seem to be holiday lets.
The house was quite dirty on the ground floor. The livingroom carpet was stained and the ironing board was filthy. The table and benches provided for outside were blinding in sunlight and were uncomfortable to sit at. The small double room only had space for the bed and a bedside table so had to use the master room wardrobes for clothes storage. There was dog faeces in the garden and on the decking.
There was a general feel of tiredness about the place and with padlocks on cupboards we felt a bit unwelcome.
Northumberland was gorgeous as always and the weather was fantastic.

Thank you for your review. The carpets have now been cleaned and the ironing board cover changed. The previous guests were responsible for the dog mess and that is so sad as many of our guests like to bring their family pet on holiday with them and the majority are responsible pet owners an clean up after their pet. Your other comments have all been noted. Thank you
