Some of the places we would recommend you visit whilst in the area are the 2 beautiful villages of Ford and Etal. There is an extremely good pub which serves excellent food at Newton By the Sea. Craster has a beautiful harbour and whilst there you can buy the most delicious smoked salmon and kippers at Robsons which have been smoked in the traditional way. There is a very pleasant walk for the whole family [small children included ] from Craster to Dunstanburgh Castle. You can get a tasty lunch at the Craster pub with beautiful sea views.
