View the sculpture and art pieces placed throughout the garden or play petanque and croquet on the lawn.
A short drive from the cottage is the sweeping nine kilometre stretch of ocean at Waihi Beach - a great swimming and surfing beach. Explore the local village with its eclectic mix of vintage and retro shops then enjoy the cafes or restaurants in the area.

Travel to Bowentown at the southern end of Waihi Beach. Enjoy fishing in the harbour or walk to the headland and experience the stunning views across the ocean.
Soak in the natural hot springs at Athenree or visit the historic Athenree Homestead which was built in 1878.
Enjoy the local markets with a variety of produce and crafts.
Explore the Karangahake Gorge - the site of the original gold rush in 1875 it now offers a walkway and bike trail alongside the Ohinemuri River to the stunning Owharoa Waterfall.
The nearby town of Katikati is known as New Zealands "Mural Town" with forty murals adorning the walls of shops throughout the town. The "Haiku Pathway" is a peaceful walk along the Uretara River

"Beautiful little house with gorgeous gardens"
