Baveno is perfectly positioned on the shores of Lake Como and offers the perfect haven for relaxation. Be it breathtaking walks, italian architecture or island hopping with three of northern Italy's finest in Pesatori, Isola Bella and Isola Madre all just a small ferry ride away, there is something here for everyone. Skiing, golfing, mountain scenery and vinyards par excellence are all close by. Stoll around the pretty lakeside village here in Baveno and take in those fabulous views whilst enjoying a home made gelato or put your feet up back at your apartment and do the same from your balcony!

The apartment is just a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk from the lake.The view of Lake Maggiore from the winding drive up the mountainside is simply stunning! There are some excellent local restaurants within walking distance of the apartment such as Siddharta-for that romantic, special meal, La Posta-in the town square and Il Gabbiano in old Baveno. Try also, L'incontro on the lake edge for coffee or lunchtime snack while you wait for your ferry. Just a short drive or ferry will find you in Stresa with its cobbled streets with pavements, restaurants and shops or take a leisurely drive along the lake road and discover Feriolo, Belgirata and Arona. With national parkland and surrounding mountains there's an abudance of breathtaking walks, vinyards and architechture to enjoy. For golfers, you will find 2 local golf clubs just a 10 minute drive, Golf Club Alpino at Vezzo (9 hole) and Golf Cub Des Iles Borremees. Mottorone is the local ski resort which is easily accessed by following the road from the apartment up the mountain. One visit is not enough, we guarantee you will fall in love with this area!

The kitchen includes a dishwasher and double sink and is finished to a very high standard.
The utility room includes a washing machine and tumble dryer as well as an iron and ironing board. The living room incorporates a high quality, comfortable sofa bed. Sky TV, radio/cd player, open fireplace, 2 small armchairs, a folding dining table with four chairs and a window which overlooks a small private garden.
The balcony includes 2 ornate patio chairs accessed from the first floor bedroom offering the opportunity to enjoy a morning coffee whilst admiring the lake view! Alternatively relax "under the arches" in the small private garden with a patio table and 2 chairs, 2 sun loungers and bbq included
