Batu Ferringhi area
Batu Ferringhi is a great place to enjoy the wonderful array of Asian food and great shopping, also has some of the nicest beaches on Penang Island. The long stretch of beach is a combination of wide golden-sand, picturesque deep blue-green coves hedged by large granite boulders that seem to have tumbled from the hilly interior of the island, right into the sea. It has all the conveniences a visitor would want for an easy, hassle-free holiday. All along the road, which runs parallel to the beach just a few metres away, you can find a great variety of shops including restaurants, cafes, bars, convenience stores and souvenir shops. One unique feature is the exciting sidewalk bazaar that takes place every day from around 6pm until past midnight. The night bazaar is a busy and enjoyable shopping experience for visitors and plenty of haggling can be heard along the stretch of individual stalls. Trader & buyers negotiating in good humour for the best price for the variety of items on sale - from imitation designer t-shirts to silver jewell, to latest DVD's,music CD's & souvenirs to fragile exotic curios. And after you have done all your shopping and find yourself too tired to walk back to the apartment, you can hail one of many trishaw that ply the length of the sidewalk bazaar. There are a great number of restaurants and cafes offering incredible range of cuisine, from famous Asian sea food to popular Western spreads to Mediterranean specialities . Or just visit one of the many local hawker stalls selling their delicious, local delicacy. All that just a minutes walk from the apartment and the beach.

- Fly direct to Penang International Airport or via Kuala Lumpur - Property is just 30 minutes from Airport - Malaysia Airlines, KLM, Singapore Airways & more all fly to Penang from London / Europe / Asia - Pickup can be arranged by minibus for up to 8 pax. with luggage (contact owner for further details) - Car hire is available from the airport or locally at Batu Ferringhi (contact owner for special local deals) - There are always local affordable taxis / minibus at the airport

Further details indoors: The whole apartment is fully air-conditioned with ceiling fans for additional comfort and tastefully furnished. It is very 'Child' friendly, balcony doors & all windows have child locks, bedrooms have black-out curtains to ensure everyone has a cosy, relaxing night's sleep. Selection of toys to entertain the younger generation, board games for the older ones, high chair & cot are provided.
Lounge / Dining room: Offers a spectacular view of the beach. Fully air-conditioned with ceiling fans, furnished to a high standard including a double sofa bed. A colour TV with satelite channels (HBO, CNN, BBC, ESPN, disney, discovery etc...) and DVD player to watch the latest films that you can buy at the local night bazaar. Dining table seats 8. There is also a WC for convenience.
Kitchen: The open plan kitchen is fully fitted with multi gas hob incl. conventional oven, microwave, large fridge - freezer, toaster, kettle, pots & pans, cooking utensils, full set of cutlery & crockery and drinking glasses. There is a washing machine in the laundry balcony with clothes line.
Master Bedroom: Sea view, air-conditioned & ceiling fan with en suite bathroom & shower. Very spacious with Queen size bed, double wardrobe, dressing table and space for additonal single bed or cot, if necessary.
2nd Bedroom: Air-conditioned & ceiling fan with shared bathroom & shower. Very spacious with Queen size bed, wardrobe & dresser.
3rd Bedroom: Air-conditioned & ceiling fan with shared bathrrom & shower. Has 2 single beds with pull-out bed and dresser unit.
Bathrooms: The en suite and the shared bathroom have good electric showers, toilets and sinks. Walls are fully tiled with shelves and mirrors.
Playroom: Small playroom with wc which can double-up as a bedroom with single bed.
Further details outdoors: Watersports available incl. jetsking, parasailing, canoeing, sailing, banana rides, island boat trips, diving expeditions all available on the beach etc.. Cleaning & Linen change at the end of your holiday are included in the price however, if you book for two weeks, spare linen & towels is included but not an apartment clean. Automatic washing machine available. Beach towels are not provided, please bring your own. However, beach mats, buckets & spades are provided. Please do not use the apartment towels for the beach.
Bookings are via email or phone, 25% deposit is required on booking and balance payable 2 weeks prior to arrival or immediately if booking is made within 2 weeks of departure date.
Payment can be made by cheque or into a bank account (details shall be provided).
A security deposit of GBP65.00 is required for breakages, loss of keys & damaged to the property beyond fair wear & tear. Security deposit shall be fully refundable within 14 days from departure date subject to terms & conditions.
