Lock Quay Cottage in Bradford on Avon is 5* accommodation for 9 adults with excellent living and dining/cooking space. Nine members of my family stayed at the cottage for week in August in preparation for our daughter's wedding in West Lavington with the reception held at The Barn at Wick Farm. It is excellently placed at the side of the Kennet and Avon canal and close to the very charming town centre. Lots of places to visit in the area and plenty of coffee shops and tea rooms to visit after a day sightseeing. Parking is limited but with 5 cars, we managed to park 3 outside and offroad at the cottage and sufficient space locally to park the other two. Excellent welcome pack awaited us with all the essentials before having to visit the local Sainsburys, just a 5 minute walk away!! Would definitely recommend a visit to this cottage - the bedroom in the roof space is like a sanctuary away from the rest of your group!! |
