We take great care of this lovely cottage - all the rooms are well furnished and equipped, and we personally clean and prepare it for our guests, to make sure it is up to our high standard.

On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms and a spotless bathroom, with a good shower. The twin room has an original cast iron fireplace, wooden panelling and views over the canal and town. The double bedroom is on the second floor and has original beams and far reaching views. The quarry tiled kitchen/diner is cosy and well equipped, and the sitting room has leather sofas and a stove style electric fire for extra warmth.

You will find the location of this little cottage hard to beat.

Further details outdoors

We have a private, walled patio garden with hardwood furniture and BBQ. Although it is a small area, it is a lovely place to sit for your breakfast in the morning, or on warm summer evenings. A parasol is provided for the table.

There is a private parking space next to the cottage - once your car is parked, you may not need to use it again!

We are open all year round and 3/4 night midweek or weekend short breaks are available during low season (or possibly during high season at very short notice)

Our normal changeover day is Saturday, but we can be flexible during quiet times.

Gorgeous little cottage, perfect for weekend retreat from city life. Walking distance from Bradford on Avon - far enough away for peace and quiet, close enough to make it easy distance for restaurants, shops and pubs.
Good tourist advice - walks and where to eat, etc.

"Lovely cottage in perfect location."

We stayed for three nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The cottage is spotless, attractively furnished and has a very homey comfortable feel. There is all you could require from a holiday cottage plus all the extra touches provided by a thoughtful owner.

"Gem of a Cottage"

Lock View was a pleasure to stay in. Linda the owner seem to know what makes a house a home from home (if only for 4 nights) Even down to a mini whisk. We have rented houses, Villas & apartments all over Europe etc for the last 30 years and this has got to have been one of the cleanest and best equipped we have ever stayed in.
Bradford on Avon is a lovely town and a great place to base your holiday in this part of the country. Will be visiting again and will be booking Lock View.

"clean comfortable and very handy to restaurants and shops"

We had a great stay we used the cottage for our home base while we looked around the south of England. The cottage was clean and comfortable we found that having a washing and drying machine very convenient. We were close to the local pubs and had great meals everybody we talked to were very friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to book the cottage again for our next stay in England.
