Lock View cottage
About the home
This lovely cottage sits on a quiet road, overlooking the Kennet and Avon canal, yet is within easy walking distance of the pretty town centre of Bradford on Avon. There are many lovely walks or cycle paths from your doorstep. Take a boat trip along the canal or just wander through the old town and visit the interesting local shops. There is also a large park close by with tennis courts and childrens play areas.
We have retained many original features in the property, including fireplaces, wooden panelling and quarry tiled kitchen, but the cottage had a modern feel.
We provide attractive linen and fresh towels, with good quality crockery and all the cooking equipment you would need. You have a private parking space next to the cottage and a pretty patio garden with BBQ for those warm summer evenings and you will be spoilt for choice when deciding where to eat, with so many pubs and restaurants to walk to.

We stayed at Lockview Cottage in August 2011. Inside the cottage is lovely with everything you need for a perfect holiday. The cottage is in a great location very close to the canal, with plenty of places to eat and drink close by. Bradford on Avon is a lovely town, the valley through to Bath is gorgeous, and canoeing/cycling etc. all close by. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning - thoroughly recommended. |
