Farmhouse | 4 bedrooms | sleeps 9
The house has been designed as a social space – perfect for groups or families.
The vast dining hall seats 8 at ease, and is the perfect setting for dinner parties. We have just had a wood-fired pizza oven installed for cooking 'al forno'!
The Party Room has 2 rows of vintage cinema seats with a giant 50” HD TV, DVD player & surround sound; plus a cocktail bar complete with cocktail kit & vintage glasses. The setting is idyllic (our neighbour is Dyrham Park National Trust!).
The grounds are peaceful & abundant with rare & beautiful flowers & trees.
The farmhouse sits in grounds of just under an acre with croquet lawn; South-West facing garden with BBQ –perfect for sunset dining; woodland area & wild meadow.
The location is second-to-none: 7min drive from the M4 (junc 18); 15min drive to the centre of Bath. The house is just a few yards from the pedestrian gate into Dyrham Park – perfect for country walks, picnics, or pop into the restaurant for afternoon tea or the famous venison burger & visit the gift and garden shop for gorgeous goodies.

The West Country region
The Farmhouse provides elegant accommodation that is suitable for couples, families, groups and (well behaved) hen parties.
There is a huge amount to do in the area: a visit to Dyrham Park National Trust is a must seeing as its next door (the house was originally within the grounds of the park) for walks, picnics, their lovely restaurant and tea room – plus they have great fun kids activities in the holidays; head into Bath and visit the Spa, the Royal Crescent and The Circus (we can also recommend great restaurants); walk or cycle the Cotswold Way; visit nearby Castle Coombe; or just take a load off and relax in the beautiful garden or house.
Locally, there is The Bull pub at Hinton (next village to Dyrham and a lovely walk); and a farm shop at Pucklechurch (2miles).
As this is a rural location, you do need a car. We can recommend a taxi service into Bath if you want to leave the car behind.
We can also arrange private pilates classes and a beautician to visit the house.
The gardens and grounds are truly impressive.
In fact, the house is known in the area for having the most impressive collection of plants, trees and flowers – even the head gardener at Dyrham Park agrees!
There are several golf courses in the area – the closest being Tracy Park which is a few minutes away; plus Lansdown Golf Club about 10minutes drive; and Bath Golf Club about 20mins drive.
Also The Players Club is very close by
