The staircase leads you to Monks Retreat where the beams are huge and the space vast. Recently converted and tastefully finished. Fantastic views of the rolling countryside. Calm and tranquil surroundings, birds and farm animals are your neighbours for the duration.

Spacious Accommodation: Sleeps 4-6 plus cot. Flagstone entrance hall with two flights of stairs leading to hallway, sitting room (with optional sofa bed), dining room, fully fitted kitchen, master bedroom with 5' double bed and shower en suite, twin/double bedroom with two 3' beds, bathroom with bath and separate power shower. Additional single beds can be placed in either of the bedrooms.

The historic City of Bath with its world famous Roman Baths and Georgian architecture is world-renowned. There is archaeological evidence that occupation based around the hot springs on which the City of Bath is built, began at least 8,000 years ago. It now boasts an excellent array of attractions, restaurants and cafes, superb shopping and parks for visitors. Visit the Thermae Spa, Bath where you can swim in the natural hot waters.
Bradford-on-Avon, 5 miles
The picturesque town of Bradford-on-Avon grew up around 'broad ford' and the slopes of the river. The narrow roads are lined with grey buildings in mellowed Bath stone. The textile industry had been the backbone of the local economy for six centuries until its demise at the beginning of the last century.
Kennet & Avon Canal, 3 miles
The famous Kennet and Avon canal is a short 10 minute drive away in the beautiful Limpley Stoke valley nearby. It is ideal for cycling, walking, boating and fishing. It will lead either towards Bradford on Avon or Bath. Bikes can be hired here or in Bradford on Avon.
Longleat House and Estate, 10 miles
Home to the eccentric Lord Bath. The vast and green estate is also home to the world renowned Lions of Longleat in the safari park. A superb attraction for all the family.
