The west country offers visitors a massive variety of areas to visit. From the larger cities/towns like Bristol and Bath to the villages of Devon. There are beaches, hills, woodland, history and much more. The South West is a great holiday destination.
The World Heritage City of Bath has welcomed visitors for almost two millennia. In times past they were drawn to its famous baths for their healing properties. Then came the Roman invasion in AD 43. The Romans brought with them their technology and architecture which is still very evident throughout the city.
Todays visitors are drawn to Bath for a variety of reasons: Its baths, history, the Arts, award winning restaurants, hotels, shopping, sporting events and just the beauty of the city.
