The apartment consist of the following:

Drawing room-

A beautiful, large drawing room overlooking Great Pulteney Street. There are two tall arched sash windows, a decorative fire place, gloriously high ceilings, chandeliers and cornices which make the apartment feel grand, light and inviting. There are three sofas, one of which becomes a sofa bed to provide additional sleeping space if needed. A flat screen TV/DVD player with BT Vision channels and super fast wifi is available throughout the apartment.

Bedroom-

The large bedroom with a Grand super king size bed has been furnished with both antique and modern touches to ensure comfort and grandeur. With its high corniced ceiling and chandelier this room feels romantic and inviting and is separated from the drawing room by the original full height Georgian marriage doors. Luxurious, Egyptian cotton Bed linen, towels, robes, blanket and hair dryer are supplied.

Kitchen-

With its South facing views the kitchen is bright, cheerful and fully equipped with all the mod cons including washer/dryer, dish weather, fridge freezer, microwave over, digital DAB radio/Docking system, toaster, kettle, iron, cutlery, crockery, glasses, cooking utensils etc etc. A modern Danish designed table and chairs provides seating for four.

Bathroom-

The bathroom offers a full size bath with fitted shower and screen, vanity basin and toilet unit, heated towel rail and hand sensitive lit mirror.

Reading room and balcony-

This room is a brand new addition to the apartment, and can be accessed from either the bedroom or the kitchen. It provides a very cosy and light area to just relax in and enjoy the views towards the hills beyond. Alternatively open the folding french windows and sit out on the balcony with a relaxing aperitif before heading out to one of the many fine restaurants or pubs that Bath has to offer.

The West Country region

The west country offers visitors a massive variety of areas to visit. From the larger cities/towns like Bristol and Bath to the villages of Devon. There are beaches, hills, woodland, history and much more. The South West is a great holiday destination.

Bath

The World Heritage City of Bath has welcomed visitors for almost two millennia. In times past they were drawn to its famous baths for their healing properties. Then came the Roman invasion in AD 43. The Romans brought with them their technology and architecture which is still very evident throughout the city.

Todays visitors are drawn to Bath for a variety of reasons: Its baths, history, the Arts, award winning restaurants, hotels, shopping, sporting events and just the beauty of the city.

"Fabulous, stylish apartment centrally located in Bath"

This apartment is even more stunning than depicted by the photos, if that is possible. It is very spacious, spotlessly clean and very well located near the centre of Bath. The host Rebecca is delightful, very communicative and always available by text to answer any queries. I highly recommend it.

Wow Thanks Sarah - so great to hear we're doing everything right! So glad you enjoyed your stay - do come and visit again!

"We didn't want to leave"

The location of this apartment is perfect and only three minutes' walk from shops and restaurants. The house is gorgeous and has been furnished and decorated to an exceptionally high standard. The owners have kept all the Georgian features and it is very well equipped with everything you might want, though you need to bring personal toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel etc. The bed is absolutely massive (super king I think) and very comfortable. A small amount of coffee, tea and sugar is provided and we got a lovely basket with wine, chocolates and crisps on arrival. The apartment is very spacious and there is a lovely little balcony to enjoy your coffee on in the morning. We would really recommend this apartment and Becky is very welcoming. Good selection of DVDs if you need to watch them and excellent information pack with recommendations for restaurants, etc. Parking is easy and right outside (permit is provided) and you really don't need to use the car at all to get round Bath day-to-day as everything is within walking distance. It's hard to think of anything that could be improved; maybe just a few more teabags if I had to be picky, but then there is an excellent convenience store a minute away where you can buy almost anything. I would definitely recommend that you stay here. I know we will be returning in the future.

What a lovely review - Thank you so much. It's very important to us that people are enjoying staying at The Artpad so we're grateful for your positive feedback. I promise there will be more teabags next time! Would love to welcome you back to The Artpad if ever you're visiting Bath again..

"A lovely apartment in an excellent location"

We stayed at the apartment for a wedding in Bath. The apartment is lovely with everything you need and is in a prime location. It is only a five minute walk to the town centre and the apartment is in a lovely area. I stayed with my partner and my sister. The sofa in the front room turns into a sofa bed and my sister said it was really comfortable and there was plenty of room. Becky, who owns the apartment is really helpful and is really welcoming when you arrive. She left a little gift on the table for when we arrived, which was really nice and makes a difference. I would definitely stay again and I would recommend it to family and friends.

Thank you Harriet for your feedback - I'm so glad you enjoyed the apartment and that it was comfortable for you all. Hope to see you again one day..

An excellent apartment in a tremendous location, which fully met our requirements and expectations. The right environment to reflect on life in Georgian Bath but with central heating and all mod cons.

Thank you for your comments and so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We also think the location is perfect and we feel the best street in Bath!!! We look forward to welcoming you back..
