Home description
Abbey Green is another gracious studio apartment in Abbey House, located in the heart of Bath, literally right next door to the Roman Baths. Abbey Green is the first floor flat in this Georgian townhouse and boasts a remarkable view of Abbey Green from 3 imposing windows.
Abbey Green has loads of original period detail, including ceiling cornice and wall panelling and is sumptuously furnished with four-poster Victorian double bed, guest double bed, dining table, antiques and comfortable sofa, as well as modern wide-screen TV with DVD, and CD Stereo. The main room acts as both Living room and Bedroom, but it is spacious and gracious enough that you never feel cramped.
There is a stylishly decorated bathroom with shower and the pretty kitchen has all mod cons, including washer and dryer, and is large enough for a four-seater breakfast table offering an amazing view of the Cathedral and Abbey courtyard.
Exactly next door to the Roman Baths and Pumproom, as well the beautiful fan-vaulted Cathedral of Bath Abbey, the house overlooks the old medieval streets that run alongside the Abbey and the Roman Baths. You will be in the very centre of Bath with excellent restaurants, cafes, theatres, museums, cycle paths, hill walking, heritage sites, as well as fantastic shopping all around you. Everything you can imagine is at your doorstep.
