The dreamy bedroom with king size or twin beds has Egyptian cotton sheets, down duvets and 1200 pocket sprung mattresses with a lovely view over the orchard. The sitting room is spacious with a large television, free wifi, an iPod hub and seating for 5 on the triple sofa and the sofa bed. The Annexe just outside Bath offers a stylish retreat with countryside views throughout. Overlooking the orchard, the luxury inviting bedroom features a king sized bed with luxurious egyptian cotton bed linen. If required, the bedroom can also be made up as a twin room.

The open plan living area provides a welcoming space for relaxing with a large three seater sofa, 4ft wide sofa bed, electric wood burning stove, TV, DVD and wifi. The complete kitchen includes a dishwasher and there is dining space for up to six people.

The Annexe is all on one level with a private sun terrace which is ideal for barbecues, bird watching or enjoying a glass of wine.

The Annexe has its own parking space and a large private sun terrace which offers outstanding views of the beautiful Midford Valley. Outdoor dining facilities with a BBQ, teak table and four chairs are also provided for your exclusive use.

A Welcome Basket containing cereals, coffee, teas, bread, butter, marmalade, milk and sugar is provided on arrival.
A small decanter of sherry and some little nibbles help ease the pain of the journey.

Linen, towels, use of free wifi, utilities, and local taxes also included.

The West Country / Somerset region

Somerset is a beautiful part of the country and the Midford Valley's sheltered location creates a unique micro-climate.

The local area is of significant historic and archeological interest, with the father of English geology, William Smith, having resided nearby.

The area also sits on the site of the old Somerset coal canal and there are many artefacts to be found locally. The Annexe is just five minutes' walk from the Tucking MIll Viaduct, soon to become the site of the Sutrans cycle track 24.

The Bath / Midford area

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, there is lots to see and do in Bath. With historic architecture such as the Pulteney Bridge, Bath Abbey, the Roman Baths, the Royal Crescent and the Circus, and attractions including the Fashion Museum (previously the Museum of Costumes), the Jane Austen Centre and the Bath Thermae Spa, you'll be spoilt for choice.

There a regular festivals and events in Bath, including the Music Festival in June, the Mozart Festival in November, the Literary Festival in February/March and the Chrismas Market in December.

“Idyllic setting & very relaxing” Just got back from a two night stay at this idyllic cottage. Its in a very secluded lane away from it all and very relaxing. The views from the front door are just perfect and the gardens are lovely.... more
