To be in The Royal Crescent on a bright blue morning, marvelling at the graceful architectural curves and stately ionic columns is to link arms with those that have had the privilege or good fortune to have enjoyed this same vista in 1774 when this most famous example of Georgian architecture was completed. This beautiful two-bed room apartment on the 2nd floor has wonderful views of Bath and the surrounding hills and is full of light, art and graceful period detail.

It captures the stylish elegance of Georgian Bath and adds the comforts of a luxurious home. You are surrounded by historic buildings and it is a joy to explore on foot with the high street just minutes away.

A spacious south-facing living room overlooks the Crescent and the mature trees of Royal Victoria Park with the hills beyond. Relax into either of two big comfortable sofas around a coffee table with a good selection of books along with a large TV and DVD. Adding to the graceful ambience is a fine antique dining table and chairs to seat 4 and a grand fireplace with an ornamental electric fire.

The bespoke fitted, traditional-style kitchen is fully equipped for an enjoyable stay with a cosy breakfast bar and two stools and another little table and chair in front of a large window with views. You'll find an electric hob and oven, a microwave, a fridge and separate freezer, a small dishwasher and a combined washing machine and dryer.

The spacious master bedroom has two large sash windows overlooking the manicured grounds of the Royal Crescent Hotel next door with Lansdown Crescent high on the hill and a tumble of handsome Georgian terraces leading down. Its an elegant suite with a super king bed that can become two singles, a couple of French style easy chairs and a small TV with a selection of DVD's. Plenty of storage is provided by a large wardrobe and pretty dressing table.

Adding to your comfort is a large glossy, cream-tiled en suite bathroom with a bath, (with a shower handset) a hand basin with storage under and a WC.

The second bedroom has views to the front of the crescent and a romantic king-sized bed beneath a sash window with the original working shutters. There is a pretty antique easy chair and elegant storage. Across the hall you will find a second cream-tiled bathroom with a corner shower, hand basin and WC.
