Lynwood House Apartment is a large bright and airy 1 - bedroom flat in central Bath, just a 2 minute walk from Great Pulteney Street.
The large bedroom has generous storage, huge sash windows and wonderful views over Sydney Gardens. The living room has a useful sofa bed and armchair, a TV, DVD player, stereo and a selection of books, games and DVDs. There is also a dining area and the room enjoys far reaching views over north Bath. The kithcen is fully equiped with electric cooker, gas hob, fridge/freezer and washing machine. The bathroom has a shower with Bath over. We also provide Wi-Fi with a broadband hub in the sitting room.
All bedlinen and towels are provided at no extra cost.

The West Country region
Bath is a world heritage site and one of the most captivating cities to visit. Small enough to easily walk around yet boasting first class architecture, museums, parks, restaurants, music, pubs and galleries. It would take weeks to begin to absorb all it has to offer. if you feel the need to leave the city the surronding countryside is also very beautiful. Motorway networks make the West Country, Wales and the Cotswolds all very accessible and Bristol is a short trip on the train.
The flat is in central Bath so all the cities attractions are within easy reach.
The ideal destination for families friends or couples. With so much to see and do in the area you will never get bored!

"Very comfortable flat Great location"
Lovely flat Great views over Bath. Perfect location' 10 Min gentle walk to town centre. Well equiped. This was our 3rd stay we will be back.

"Lots of Space"
Bath is a wonderful city to visit. This apartment was the largest we've stayed in during our vacations. It's on the top floor of an older home and quite close to the downtown of Bath, certainly within walking distance.
It's a bit of a challenge getting your luggage up the stairs but worth it once you're there. Has decent security too.
You need to meet up with the owner in order to get the key for the apartment which could be a challenge for some who are traveling a long way as it's not easy to guarantee a specific time of arrival - some kind of lock-box arrangement would make things a lot easier.
One issue is internet access. there's no wi-fi and the owner provides a USB stick (called a dongle in the UK) but the reception is slow and is not as effective as it could be with wi-fi.
Kitchen facilities are good - combined washer/dryer, fridge, dishwasher. etc.
The large lounge has the smallest TV we've ever seen - about the size of a computer screen but then again, we were not on vacation to watch TV.
Parking can be a bit of a challenge but the owner provides a parking pass for a small fee per day if you cannot get the free parking outside the door.
All in all it was a good place to stay and we recommend it.

"Light and spacious apartment close to the heart of Bath"
At the far end of Great Pulteney Street, opposite the beautiful Holbourne Museum and Sydney Gardens, the Lynwood House apartment is no more than an easy, level 10 minute walk to all the main attractions of Bath - Pulteney Bridge, the Abbey, the Roman Baths, the Parade Gardens and the new Spa. Parking in Bath can be difficult and expensive but staying here you really don't need a car to get around. The train station is a 15 - 20 minute walk away. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to self cater and the washing machine makes life easier if you're staying for a week or more.

"Location,location,location-prime selling point of this elegant Bath apartment"
It can be hard to find holiday accommodation for only two people at a faceable cost so we were delighted to arrive at this spacious second floor conversion, with its own front door [at the top of seven or eight steepish stairs from the first floor.] It faces on to elegant Holborne Gallery, whose cafe, as well as its exhibitions, we enjoyed, and is just round the corner from the Bath home of Jane Austen, a wow factor for this Jane Austen fan!
The flat itself is large and light, with a fabulous view over Bath from the sitting room and well equipped kitchen and bathroom.Our landlord was there to greet us.
Decor is clean, bright, and if somewhat sparse ,better than the vases of dried flowers and clutter of some holiday rentals.
The bedroom is large with a traditional fireplace[as has the sitting room,though sadly no fire in the sitting room fireplace] The bed was just a tad too short for my six-footer husband and there was no mirror in the bedroom, but these were v minor quibbles.
There's so much to do in Bath within ten minutes easy walk of the flat that we didn't use any of the £14 worth of street parking permits we bought but there is parking in front of the flat or for a £2 daily charge in an adjacent street if there's no on-street space.
The price compared very favourably with accommodation of a comparable standard booked through other agencies such as Country Cottages, and we'd certainly go back .
