Marmaduke House is in a superb Central Bath location – about 5 minute's level walk from the city centre, and with Victoria Park and the Royal Crescent close by. The spacious, sunny Victorian house is ideal for gatherings of friends or family of up to 10 people. Marmaduke House is the only self catering holiday cottage in central Bath where every one of the 5 bedrooms has its own bathroom. The house is decorated in light neutral colours and furnished for relaxation & comfort for a real home from home. All the Bath attractions and shops are a few minutes level walk away and you don't have to worry about parking as you have 3 private spaces at the back of the house.

Inside, the house has a spacious lounge with sumptuous leather sofas to seat everyone in comfort and new large flat screen TV, DVD, ipod dock & stereo & Free WiFi.

The dining room has a large table so 10 people can eat,drink and be merry together. It is next to the fully equipped kitchen which has everything you need to make yourselves feel at home, including plenty of crockery and cutlery and of course, the all important dishwasher. The Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need when away from home including 2 fridge-freezers, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier and plenty of crockery and cutlery. As well as the fridge-freezer in the kitchen there is an additional one near to back door to make sure you will always have enough space for cold drinks!

The five bedrooms are on the first and second floors; 4 have their bathroom ensuite and the fifth bedroom has a bathroom just across the hall. Everyone sleeps in a hotel-grade sprung bed, no sofa beds or bunks at Marmaduke House here! All the bedrooms have high quality super comfy beds with feather pillows, duvets, flat screen TVs & hairdriers and all the bathrooms have showers as well as a bath. There is plenty of hot water from a super duper pressurised system.

Outside there is a courtyard garden with a BBQ and seating for 10, and steps up to the parking spaces. There is private off road parking for 3 cars at the back of the house.

It is a short level walk to a great choice of shops, cafes, bars, pubs and restaurants nearby, as well as the great historic sites that Bath is renowned for.

The ground floor has a lounge, dining room, kitchen, large hallway, utility area and an extra loo so you don't have to run up the stairs!

The lounge has a sumptuous leather corner sofa with an extra sofa so that 10 people can relax in comfort. The original Victorian fireplace is a lovely feature and is complemented by neutral decoration to set off the room. All the modern comforts are provided too ; large flat screen TV, DVD player, CD stereo & Ipod Dock & Wifi.

The Dining Room is on the other side of the hall to the sitting room so it means you have two rooms to use, useful if children get bored of adult conversations. The oak dining table seats 10 people so that you can all enjoy your meals together.

The Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need when away from home including fridge-freezer, hob, double oven & grill,microwave,dishwasher, as well as plenty of glasses, crockery and cutlery. As well as the fridge-freezer in the kitchen there is an additional one near to back door to make sure you will always have enough space for cold drinks! In the utility area you will find a separate washing machine and tumble drier.

The first floor has 3 bedrooms (1 king & 2 twins) and 3 bathrooms, 2 of which are en suite. On the second floor as two double bedrooms each with an en suite bathroom. All bathrooms have a shower and a bath in them. Every bedroom has a TV and hairdryer as well as chest of drawers and hanging space.

Alternatively the Bath Spa Train and bus stations are a 10-15 minute walk away.

Outside there is a courtyard garden with a BBQ and seating for 10 people so you can enjoy the outdoors. Help yourself to the herbs in the garden! We have private parking for 3 cars, which for self catering holiday cottages and vacation rentals in a Bath holiday home is a real advantage. Once you have parked your car you can forget about it and walk.
