This stunning house sleeps 4, has a double garage and is in a quiet residential area very close to all the fun of city life.

Once you are in Bath you don't need a car to explore as everything is within easy walking distance. However, should you have a vehicle, there space for two cars in the garage. Alternatively the Bath Spa train and bus stations are only a 10-15 minute walk away.

Its an easy level walk to the city centre where there is a great choice of shops, restaurants, bars, museums, galleries and entertainment. There are many beautiful historic sites to explore and you are surrounded by wonderful architecture.

You can also take advantage of proximity to The Rec, home of Bath Rugby with the season running from September to May and matches every two weeks

A spacious entrance with oak and glass staircase leads up to the first floor which is open from end to end and right up to the timber rafters. The antipodean owners love the great outdoors and have brought their way of life to this great indoors. It is comfortable, stylish and playful with large prints of bygone Bath which you may recognise when you are out and about.

There is a generous chocolate and cream coloured kitchen with a central island and four bar stools for drinks and informal dining, and plenty of low level storage. There is a large halogen hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and separate freezer and a thermostatic wine store. A large ceramic topped dining table with funky American navy chairs seats 6. There an expansive sofa with a chaise extension, a large sofa bed and two vast beanbags. You can get together in front of a 42'' TV with Sky Plus, a Blue Ray Player with a selection of movies, and an I-pod docking with surround sound speakers. There is a work station with WiFi and a selection of CDs, books and games.

On the ground floor are two quiet, smart bedrooms and bathrooms plus cloakroom all tiled in smooth creamy limestone.

The master bedroom has a super king bed, lots of storage and a wall mounted TV. There is a large walk-in wet room with a rainfall shower and separate handset and a hand basin. Another bathroom with shared access has a deep bath with drench shower over, as well as a separate handset, and a WC. There is a twin room with 2 beds that zip together to become a super king and plenty of storage.

From inside, you can access a large double garage with original flagstone floor. There are electric doors and the original stable gates. Here too is a cupboard housing a washing machine and separate dryer.

The area within which the city of Bath is found is rich in heritage and culture; with over 800 Grade 1 & 2 listed buildings.

In the greater area of Somerset there is much to do and see; with the added benefit of having some of the best of the British weather! Somerset's beautiful countryside has attracted many famous individuals throughout history; including Sir William Wordsworth an English poet laureate of the 19th Century.

Somerset has great historical significance, and has played a part in every period including the Roman Conquest, the Norman invasion, the War of the Roses, and even right up till the present day!

Bath

You can also take advantage of proximity to The Rec, home of Bath Rugby with the season running from September to May and matches every two weeks. Telephone the Box Office outside the grounds (0871 721 1865) to book tickets up to 4 weeks in advance or visit www.seatexchange.co.uk for online tickets. There are also tennis courts in Sydney Gardens and Royal Victoria Park. At Vicky Park as the locals call it, there is a huge outdoor play area for children, crazy golf and hot-air balloon flights.

At The Approach Golf Course in the city, you can play 18 holes whilst taking in wonderful views of Bath and the surrounding hills.

The nearest supermarket is Waitrose, only a 5 minute walk away.
