Blue Bower for 1 or 2 couples

This luxury accommodation is surrounded by a sea of ancient burrawang (cycads)palms, towered over by spotted gum, blackbutt & ironbark eucalypts. The palms are mature and it's unusual to see so many of them in one place. The result is total privacy – except for the rosellas, king parrots, bower birds, kangaroos, wallabies and endangered yellow-bellied gliders that frequent the area. This tranquil scene is thousands of years in the making, truly rare and precious. This modern cabin, which is spread well apart from the other buildings on the property has 2 bedrooms (perfect for two couples travelling together) and cathedral-like glass walls to drink in the views.

Appointments include king bed in 1 room and 2 singles in the second, fully equipped kitchen, your own gas BBQ and timber deck, and a cosy wood fired heater. This retreat is surrounded by bushland, next to a nature reserve and close to freshwater and tidal wetlands. It is handy to amazing beaches, subtropical rainforests, the Mogo Zoo and national park wilderness areas. In short, a superb base for bushwalking, bird watching, sea kayaking, horseback riding, exploring craft shops and art galleries – or just marvelling at the setting.
