About the home

Chapel Cottage, a genuine lakehouse cottage built in the 17th century, lies on the outskirts of the gorgeous Bassenthwaite village. The cottage incorporates superb wooden crossbeamed-ceilings and an ornate inglenook fireplace that furnish the cottage with all the traditional warmth and charms you would expect from a 17th century building.

Encompassing two floors, the cottage includes three double bedrooms, a tidy little study room and a fully equipped bathroom (with bidet) on the first floor. On the ground floor are the lounge that comes complete with DVD, TV and stereo, a stunning farmhouse style kitchen that is nonetheless fully modernized, a utility room with a washing machine and drier and a shower room that also has a WC.

The exterior includes a large, fully furnished private garden and on street parking for one vehicle.
