A cosy period holiday cottage within easy access to the beautiful Peak District National Park. Fully fitted with all the amenities one would need after a long days exploring.

Within 15 minutes drive are the beautiful villages Baslow, Calver and the stately Chatsworth House and park. A further 10 minutes drive brings you to Bakewell, Haddon Hall and Matlock.

Derbyshire is the perfect is the perfect base to explore the stunning scenery of the Peak District National Park with its rugged hills and gentle hills it is the perfect place to come and unwind at any time of the year. Derbyshire also has some of the prettiest little villages in the UK to take in aswell as excellent facilities for cycling, caving, rock climbing and rambling.

Baslow / Barlow area

Peak District national park. Ideally situated for picturesque country walks from the doorstep. The village of Barlow has 2 pubs/ restaurants, both within walking distance. Also a tearoom, antique shop and a general store.
In the next village of Millthorpe, they have their own cricket team. During the season they play at the village ground.

The cottage comprises is comprised of a well equipped new kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, microwave, washer/dryer and cd/radio. Comfortable lounge with electric fire, tv and video recorder. Upstairs there are two bedrooms; one with a king size bed and the other with twin beds. A cot is available upon request. Bath / shower room with basin and w.c. Central heating throughout. Bedding (except cot bedding) and electric is included in the price.

Towels available at a cost of £3 pppw. Non smoking property. One well behaved pet welcome.
