Guestbook for Riverside Cottage
"Loved the place and had a wonderful time – covered almost 2,000km in the week as we really used it as a base – got as far as Aubeterre in the south, La Rochelle in the west and Limoges. Went up to Tours twice and saw Chennanceaux. Many thanks for your hospitality. Trust we can use it again sometime." Mr & Mrs Aley, New South Wales, Australia. 10/04/09 - 17/04/09
"We had a very enjoyable holiday in Barrou, it is truly a lovely and interesting area and the weather was great, too hot some days even for the terrace. I think Barrou is the friendliest village in which we have stayed..." Mr & Mrs Speight, Edinburgh, Scotland. 03/06/09 - 01/07/09.
"The cottage was very comfortable and spacious and we really enjoyed our stay – everyone in the village was very friendly and seemed to understand what we were saying!! The firework display on 13th July was great with most of the villagers watching from the riverbank. We visited a number of chateaux and different towns". Mr & Mrs Stevenson, Berkshire, England. 05/07/09 - 19/07/09
"We really enjoyed our stay at Riverside Cottage - it was a fantastic location. Some evenings we were happy to just sit in your lovely garden and admire the view - it was even better than we expected". Mr & Mrs Fleming, Buckinghamshire, England. 25/07/09 - 01/08/09
“We'd just like to tell you that we had a lovely time in your delightful cottage, the weather was wonderful, in fact too hot most of the time! The pool table was a definite hit - they even got me playing a few times!! And the patio is lovely.
