Dalia is a flower that is orange in our gardens, the color orange prevails in the furnishing of this apartment, which has a large kitchen with a sofa bed available, a large bathroom with shower, 2 bedrooms of different colors all around the apartment there is a large terrace with table and chairs to eat our specialties and taste our wines while admiring the stunning sunsets across the mountains that you face

The Barolo area

The first thing that one notices about Barolo is that the town is situated differently than the other nearby towns, which perch on hilltops or stretch along ridges. Barolo, though, closes a small valley; it poses on a kind of spur-shaped plateau, standing out from the slopes that surround it like an amphitheatre.

Barolo has, in fact, not one castle but two, the Castello Falletti (the communal castle) and the Castello della Volta. The first is located in the city centre, the second, a few hundred metres away as the crow flies, on the ridge that runs from Novello to La Morra, by way of Vergne. The two castles, in fact, face each other, and both belonged to the Falletti family. The position of the Castello alla Volta gave it the more strategic importance.

“Like at home!” I stayed in Dalia and also in Rosa Gialla and it was a fantastic experience, in no place I felt so good. Apartment big, clean, modern and confortable with everything you can need. And the ospitality of Marina and Margherita has something incredible: very expecially people, kind, generous that make you feel one of them! I hope to return soon.

“Amazing” This apartment was beyond all expectations. The hospitality, service and generosity of Marina and her family was just amazing. The apartment was very nice, well equipped and clean, with a terrace where you could sit and eat overlooking part of the village, the valley and the Alps in the distance. The small village shop was just around the corner and it was only a few kilometres to other villages. The wine-tasting which Marina arranged locally gave us an evening to remember with yet more wonderful hospitality. We also got to learn about Italian food traditions. We were delighted with everything and had a dream holiday cycling in the area.
