Barnstaple

The market town of Barnstaple sits on the mouth of the taw estuary,there are numerous bars ,cafes and shops located in the heart of the town,close by are the famous sandy beaches of saunton,croyde and woolacombe which all attract large numbers of surfers throughout the year.

The Exmoor national park is located a short distance to east of Barnstaple,where you can see a large herds of the local red deer, truly a walkers paradise.
