Rye Cottage is one of 9 cottages on the North Hill Cottages site set in a tranquil rural setting with fantastic views over rolling Devon countryside. It is situated up a 1 mile private road but with all the amenities of Barnstaple (the capital of North Devon) only 3.5 miles away. 25 minutes to all the great beaches of North Devon (Woolacombe, Croyde, Saunton, Puttsborough etc)
An large indoor heated swimming pool a few paces from your front door. The pool is heated to approximately 30 degrees with a separate toddler pool, spa bath at 37 degrees and a Sauna cabin.
North Hill cottages is set in 8 acres of gardens and pasture with a children's play area, all weather tennis court and games room with table tennis, pool table and table football. Plenty of room for BBQs which are available on site.

Barnstaple is the oldest borough in the country and is the commercial and agricultural centre of North Devon. A must visit for anyone seeking serious retail therapy. Saxons first settled in Barnstaple (Barum) over 1000 years ago; In 930 AD it was a Saxon stronghold serving as a market for the surrounding countryside.
Today it has a wonderful mixture of Victorian, Medieval and Georgian architecture and is proud to be a multiple winner of Britain in Bloom. Visit the Barnstaple Heritage Centre, sited in a fine Grade 1 listed building to learn more about the town's 1000 year history.
