This property forms part of a former 16th Century Farmhouse set in the centre of the delightful North Devon village of Newton Tracey.
The annexe offers cozy accommodation for up to 5 people in three bedrooms. The main double bedroom is located on the ground floor and benefits from an ensuite shower room. The other two bedrooms (one single and one double/twin) are located on the first floor and benefit from in-room washbasins. The main bathroom, located on ground floor, has a shower and WC. Please note: this property does not have a bathtub.
The accommodation has a bright compact kitchen containing all the essential appliances including a fitted gas hob and electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The snug lounge has TV, DVD player and a log effect electric fire. There is a separate dining room with cottage beams (with restricted height in some places). Outside there is a delightful patio with wooden outdoor furniture and BBQ area. There is also a large shared garden. The property has private onsite parking for 3 cars. Bed linen, towels, central heating, electricity and WIFi are included. Please note, there are a number of steps that lead to the property and therefore it is not considered suitable for elderly or disabled guests.
The village of Newton Tracey is a peaceful village, conveniently located just 4 miles from North Devon's central hub of Barnstaple with its large array of shops and restaurants. It is also only 4 miles from the harbour town of Bideford and also benefits from being only 15 minutes drive from a number of sandy beaches such as Westward Ho! Instow and Saunton Sands. The historical town of Great Torrington, home to the famous Dartington Crystal is also only 15 minutes drive away. Visitors will find plenty of country walks in the vicinity of the property, along with a popular country pub (The Hunters Inn) within short walking distance which has a reputation for excellent food and a wide selection of local ales.

"Wonderful location and peaceful with lovely garden."
We had a lovely stay, the nearest beach was 10 minutes away and sightseeing was easy.The local pub served good food and walking distance.Accommodation was comfortable but sadly our visit was rather sh… More
