One small well behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop & pub 2 mins walk. Note: This property has steep stairs, which may be unsuitable for the less mobile.

The Barnstaple / Bishops Tawton area
Set on the outskirts of Barnstaple is the charming village of Bishops Tawton, excellently positioned for exploring all that this picturesque region has to offer. This lovely little town also has the added advantage of being set back from the main tourist attractions, making it a quiet and relaxing spot to spend a holiday. The village itself boasts a traditional local pub and shop, and overlooks the River Taw as it joins the main estuary. A great base for exploring the many surfing beaches that surround Barnstaple Bay, this little town is also close to many of the other visitor attractions that are available along the fabulous coastline between Clovelly and Bude, in Cornwall. There are also a number of golf courses and excellent walks available across the wilds of Exmoor – providing visitors with something for every taste and budget.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee per week or short break.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
