Perhaps the most like "a traditional country cottage" of all our cottages. Upstairs has a bathroom and a good sized bedroom (with king-sized bed) which can take an extra folding bed. The fair sized sitting room downstairs has a matching sofa and easy chair. It also has an open fire - we provide free firewood. The kitchen/dining room overlooks the meadows and woods at the back of the farm.

"Tranquil unspoilt area, quality accomodation and welcoming owners."
Wonderfully equipped cottages on a beautiful estate in stunning countryside. This is the third time we have stayed at East Briscoe and we love it so much we have booked again! There is so much to see in this beautiful area, fabulous walks, Bowes Museum, Raby Castle, High Force and so many delightful villages and sights to discover. It is one of the most tranquil places we have ever stayed. Every home comfort has been thought of and nothing is too much trouble for the owners Chris and Emma. The only thing that makes us sad about East Briscoe is when we have to leave!
