The position of this property is ideal for numerous attractions such as Portmeirion, Harlech Castle, Slate Mines,
Cader Idris, Mount Snowdon, Royal St. David's Golf course.
The Barmouth area
Barmouth is one of the most picturesque towns along the West Coast of Wales and is surrounded by the majestic Snowdonia National Park.
It's a traditional seaside resort, an ideal holiday destination for people of all ages, with soft golden sands, beautiful coastal waters and rolling mountains.
It is a winner of the prestigious European Blue Flag Award for beaches.
The harbour is a hive of activity in the summer season with people enjoying a range of water sports and fishing opportunities, or just relax in one of the harbour side cafes or bars and watch the world go by.
In the town itself there are train rides along the sea front, an amusement arcade, donkey rides, bouncy castles, trampolines and a fun fair.
Barmouth enjoys a relatively mild climate which makes it an ideal location for out of season holiday and short breaks at any time of the year.

If you are travelling by car from London the trip takes approx. 4.5 hours. From Birmingham approx. 2.5 hours, Wolverhampton 2 hours and from Manchester approx. 2.25 hours
The house is located within easy walking distance of Barmouth Train Station.
Trains run direct from Birmingham and Wolverhampton.
It is therefore not essential to have a car as all amenities are within easy walking distance.
However a car would be required to take full advantage of the surrounding areas.

We had an absolutely fabulous week staying in Glanmorgan, and really can't recommend it highly enough. The owner was there to greet us on arrival and showed us everything we might need to know about the property, which was beautifully clean and really well presented throughout, and about the town itself. He was also really helpful after our stay when we got halfway home and realised we'd left a small but important part of the sat nav somewhere in the house, tracking it down and posting it to us! The property is beautifully decorated and full of character with lots of original features, and our two young boys loved exploring. They especially loved the bunk beds... Barmouth was a proper old-fashioned seaside town with donkey rides, ice-cream parlours and one of the best beaches we've come across. There were beautiful scenic views across the estuary from the hill behind the town which were well worth a bit of a steep walk. All in all, we were absolutely delighted with Glanmorgan - one of the best holiday properties we've ever stayed in and one of the most helpful and friendly owners. |

Andrew has everything you need for a great holiday in this three story town house. Beach rivals all the european beaches and a true welsh old fishing village. A few shops so a feeling of village life lives on but enough to surply and keep you for your Holiday. Try the great fish and chips in the Mermaid and for more and Sunday lunch try The Captains Table. Andrew takes pride in his Holiday Home and it shows. Great Holiday and thank you. |

What a fantastic place to stay. The house is gorgeous, everything you need, very comfortable, loveley views, close to all amenities but peacefull too. We have had a lovely break and would recommend to friends that Barmouth has lots to offer and this particular property is a real home from home with added luxury for a perfect holiday.
