We had a short break here during October half term. The cottage is a perfect "home from home". Everything has been thought of with the cottage and garden. The childrens play area is ideal, the large garden area with goal net perfect for our boys!! Inside the cottage has everything to cover our every need from washing machine to films, books and toys. The fire in particular is a special treat after an afternoon exploring the beach in the wind and rain. Good, pleasant communication with the owner too. A perfect getaway to unwind. Response: Many thanks once again to our very kind visitors for giving us such a lovely review. It means a great deal to us that families can go and relax, really enjoy their holiday at our cottage....and get value for money. Dave and Gill Tomkins. |

excellent place to stay....they have thought of everything, there was seven adults in our party ages from age 38 to 77 and a child age 7, not forgeting the dog, who was very happy!!! we loved it, the log fire was the best for us, so cosy when lit. we cant wait to return. Response: Thanks for a smashing review. Better get more logs chopped for your next visit. Thank you for your custom, really appreciate it. |

What a wonderful find! this beautiful cottage delivered everything and more that we wanted for a family holiday! Decorated beautifully with excellent facilities like 2 bathrooms, one downstairs which was great with having 3 young children, straight in and straight in the shower after a fun day at the beach! It's also the little things that make a difference like the lovely beds there, towels provided, all crockery. A holiday place is usually just a base but we also spent time enjoying the cottage as the huge garden which is not overlooked at all, large childrens sand pit and fantastic little caravan out back which is a play house was a big hit with the children, and us! kept them entertained for hours while we relaxed on the patio! Location was perfect, no adjoining properties so no worries about the children making noise and disturbing anyone! Great beaches, good local amenites close by, 10 minute drive to the centre of Barmouth and a great place to be based for heading off in different directions to explore Wales, which we did! what a little gem this cottage is, we loved it so much we have booked again for next summer. I would definetely recommend it! and have done so to a number of my friends! Response: Many Thanks for such a glowing review. We really appreciate all your comments and are so happy that you had a wonderful holiday with us. Thank you. See you next year. |
