Beautiful and carefully restored three storey Victorian stone built house located on the outskirts of Barmouth within easy walking distance of the town centre and lovely sandy beach. The house provides a cosy and comfortable home from home for up to 7 people with good quality furniture and comfortable beds.
The hills behind the house offer acres and acres of hill walks with stunning views of the Estuary.
The house is newly available for letting, has stripped wooden floors throughout and is furnished in keeping with its' lovely period feel.
Ideal as a base for either a walking or beach holiday.
There is a small covered courtyard at the rear of the property, a garden area to the front which is not enclosed but is ideal to sit outside in the evening watching the world go by!
The property has 4 Bedrooms and is a three storey townhouse with one King Size bed and one Double Bed, One Twin Room and One Small Single Room. There is a newly fitted bathroom on the first floor with separate Shower and WC and Separate Cloakroom (also on the first floor).
Sea Views from all of the front windows – although only a glimpse from the ground floor! Large kitchen table – easily seats 6. Two sofas in the Lounge, comfortably seats four adults.

The North Wales / Snowdonia / Gwynedd region
To the west of Barmouth lies Snowdonia which is a fantastic area for climbers, walkers and cyclists.
The position of this property is ideal for numerous attractions such as Portmeirion, Harlech Castle, Slate Mines and many others.
Behind the property are acres and acres of hillside walks and the beautiful Dinas Oleu which is the first land acquired by the National Trust.

Barmouth area
In the town itself there are train rides along the seafront, an amusement arcade, donkey rides, bouncy castle, trampolines and a fun fair. Numerous bars, cafes, ice cream parlours, shops and restaurants are a short walk away.
Ideally situated for the beach, harbour, shops and restaurants. There are miles of golden sandy beaches and facillities that you would expect of a traditional seaside town such as donkey rides in the summer.
The harbour is a bustling area in the summer season with people enjoying water sports, fishing or just a drink overlooking the sea and beautiful Cader Idris mountain range.
How to get there
The house is located within easy walking distance of Barmouth Train Station - trains run direct from Birmingham New Street. It is therefore not essential to have a car as all amenities are within easy walking distance. A car would be required to take full advantage of the surrounding area and to explore Snowdonia. The journey to Barmouth would take approximately 4 hours from London and two hours from either Manchester or Birmingham.

Further details indoors: There is full gas central heating, electric fan assisted oven and hob, microwave, fridge, television with freeview and DVD player, CD player (there is a radio but the signal is a bit hit and miss as there is a rock face behind the property!),
Some books, buckets and spades for the beach, bed linen and tea towels included. 2 stairgates in the property. There are two flights of stairs so may not be suitable for toddlers, although friends of ours have had a lovely holiday in the house with an 18 month old. There are also steps up to the house from the street so would not be suitable for anyone with mobility problems.

There is no off road parking provided for the property. Please contact us regarding short breaks as some flexibility can be given depending upon bookings already made. The property will generally be let on a Friday to Friday basis.
