Ideal for walking (Coast Path, Snowdon, Mawddach walks, Cader Idris), cycling (Coed y Brenin nearby), climbing (Snowdon, Cader Idris, Harlech climbing wall) or just chilling on the large uncrowded beach or watching our amazingly friendly animals (horses, ponies, pigs, sheep, free range chickens and runner ducks).

Your own Chicken House in the garden for you to help yourself to fresh eggs from, in return for feeding them your leftovers

Each barn has their own chicken house in the garden for guests to help themselves to free range eggs in return for feeding their leftovers to the chickens. You are welcome to let the chickens roam in the afternoon sun if you wish.

The North Wales / Snowdonia/Gwynedd region

Snowdonia National Park is an area of outstanding natural beauty, combined with miles and miles of pure sandy beaches makes this area a must to behold.

Lots of well defined walking and bird watching from your door stop, as well as cycling routes and serious mountains of Cader Idris and Snowdon. The Coastal Path is only 5 minutes away.

The Barmouth / Llanaber area

There's always something to do in the area and in our cottages we have recommendations from previous guests of the best places to go.

Top of the list in mount Snowdon, Coed y Brenin cycling centre, the numerous narrow gauge railways and of course "just chilling out".

“Spectacular sunsets from the comfort and warmth of a cosy cottage.” An excellent well equipped cottage with spectacular views. An unobstructed view out to sea and across Cardigan Bay to watch the sunset, in an evening. Easy access to the beach for strolls along the sand or walking the dog. Barmouth town center is on only a short walk away and offers all the amenities you could want, including supermarket, pharmacy, pubs, Indian restaurant, and countless shops. Dogs are welcome, so the whole family can enjoy this spacious cottage. The perfect place to unwind and relax.
