Welcome to a stunning Tuscan retreat for the most perfect holiday break.

For centuries, the mill has enjoyed a special role at the heart of this unspoiled corner of Tuscany. A regular meeting place for local villagers with a strong legacy of community has inspired the owner to create a superb venue for families and friends. Each of the buildings has been restored to a high standard, and every need has been considered to ensure comfort and practicality for guests. The charm of the mill house is complemented by a fantastic games room with a pool table, darts, giant Connect Four and other games and puzzles. A 10m swimming pool is nestled in this setting of great natural beauty - the mill looks down the valley at Coreglia Antelminelli, voted one of Italy's most beautiful villages, with the majestic Apennine Mountains forming a dramatic backdrop upstream. The pool can be heated at an additional cost.

The Tuscany region

The Province of Lucca spoils visitors with an amazing variety of sights, activities, and wonderful regional food and wine.

The mill is the perfect antidote to the stresses and excesses of life in the fast lane. You will soon get used to the windy mountain roads but if narrow lanes with plenty of bends is likely to stress you out then I think you might want to reconsider this venue. Large people movers can get down to the mill as there is a proper tarmac driveway, but we would recommend hiring smaller cars, like a Fiat Panda or a Lancia Ypsilon as they are more practical for the roads in this part of Italy.

"Stunning mill with first class facilities in beautiful location"

This was my second visit to stay with a group of friends at this fantastic mill. Set in the middle of the Tuscan hills this stunning location provides just about everything you could wish for. Beauti… More

Thank you so much for your review. I have just been out to the mill, the sun was out and I wish I could have stayed longer! Tuscany was hit hard by the harsh winter but thankfully the mill has survived unscathed. All the locals and the towns and villages are busy making sure than roads are open and repaired, they say that the Serchio river reached the underside of the new road bridge in Piano di Coreglia - it must have been quite a sight. I hope to see you soon, all the very best.

Thank you so much for your review, I might not see you in May but I hope that you have another very happy week at the mill. We have a new housekeeper this year, so I look forward to hearing how they get on. I'm sure that they will have the house looking great for you.
