Luxury penthouse duplex apartment with private rooftop swimming pool & terrace. The apartment boasts fabulous views over Barcelona's Port Vell marina and the whole of the city of Barcelona beyond.

This fantastic 5th and 6th floor duplex penthouse apartment is in a new building in Barceloneta. It is just 20 metres from the beach and has awesome views over the marina and on to Barcelona old town and the mountains behind.

The property was constructed in 2008 and has been interior designed with beautiful furniture and decoration. The south west facing terrace and infinity plunge pool make it one of the most special apartments in Barcelona and a fantastic base from which to play or work in Barcelona.

The Barcelona / Barceloneta area

Ciutat Vella, or the Old Town is believed by many to be the heart of Barcelona, and comprises primarily of four neighbourhoods – El Borne, the Barrio Gotico, El Raval and Barceloneta – which are full of old world character, linked by narrow, winding streets. There is a wealth of bars, restaurants, shops and diverse culture throughout the Old Town, making it the obvious choice for people looking for a Barcelona property from which to enjoy the best of the city.

Barceloneta is the old fishing district of Barcelona and is characterized by low-rise narrow streets tucked in between the wide sandy beaches on the sea-side of the peninsula, and the curve of Barcelona’s oldest marina – Port Vell. Home to a large part of the yachting community, there is an abundance of authentic old seafood restaurants scattered around the Harbour.

In addition the large shopping complex of Maremagnum with its shops, restaurants, and discotheques, has also brought new life to Barceloneta, enticing other attractions such as the IMAX, and the Barcelona Aquarium.

Flights to Barcelona are available from most UK airports. Approximately 2hrs flight time.

From the airport it takes 20-30 minutes in a taxi. Give the taxi driver the address they should know where it is but if they’re unsure tell them it’s by Port Vell, in Barceloneta.
