“This is our home when we are in Barcelona and we love it. It has been furnished as a home as befits this sophisticated environment and setting. Torre Sur, Illa de Llac a dramatic slim tower - with only 4 apartments per floor - and its surrounds, designed by the world-renowned architect Enric Miralles, is not a normal holiday-type complex. It is a small residential community inhabited by some of Barcelona's most urbane professionals.
Staying in this special setting offers visitors an exceptional opportunity to enjoy and share in an exclusive enclave, whilst respecting that your/our neighbours are at home and going about their daily professional lives. If you appreciate the finer points of a unique holiday in Barcelona, then you will love this experience.
However, if what you want, from a visit/vacation/business trip to Barcelona, is an action-packed location or party setting with lots of other like-minded holidaymakers, then this is not the place to rent or to stay in. You will be disappointed and you will have upset our friends and neighbours”.

The Barcelona / Olympic Village - Beach area
Barcelona is truly one of the worlds great cities. Barcelona is the vibrant and colourful capital of Catalonia. The city is peppered with many of Gaudi's modernistic and daring architecture, the pinnacle of which is the famously unfinished Sagrada Familia Cathedral. The city was and is the inspiration of its famous artists - Picasso, Miro, Dali - and is home to the opera at the Liceau, many theatres including the Catalan National Theatre, the symphony at L'Auditori and La Palau. As a sporting city it has no peer in Europe as home to the 1992 Olympics and of course to FC Barcelona and Espanol football teams. Right in the city are over 6 kilometres of some of the best as safest beaches in Spain (which the Barcelonaise like to keep a secret for themselves).
Just the place to enjoy this is a unique penthouse-style apartment. Situated in the chic neighbourhood of Diagonal Mar. Set in a parkland / lakeside setting overlooking the ocean. It is in the Sant Marti quarter, near Port Olympic and only a short distance from fashionable stores, hotels (e.g. Hotel Arts & Casino), and scores of restaurants, tapas bars, theatres, museums and all the places of historical and sporting interest. The apartment is only 300 metres from miles and miles of Barcelona' best beaches.
The public transport system - Metro, buses, taxis, trains and on-street trams - provide excellent links with the entire city and surrounding coastline and inland attractions e.g. Monserrat. The apartment is less than 30 minutes from the airport - about a EUR25 taxi fare.

Children 2 years and under free. All rates include local VAT/IVA. No travel or other specialist insurances are included. It is advisable to ensure you are properly covered. For EU citizens it is often helpful to have an E1-11 form which covers normal in-country healthcare.
Rental periods: Minimum stay is 3 nights (except in exceptional circumstances). Arrival time is between 17.00 hrs and 20.00hrs. Latest departure time is 11.00 hrs.
Payment terms: 33% payable on reservation with the balance payable in full 45 days before arrival.
Form of Payment: Check, money order or electronic bank transfer.
Security deposit: A security deposit of EUR350 is required plus EUR50 per set of keys required. Our local agent, at departure, will authorise refund balance on inspection.
Price includes: All utilities and initial cleaning. City maps and the library of useful hints and suggestions are available to all guests for their use during their stay.
The Honour System: Various foodstuffs, drinks and other consumables may be in the apartment on arrival. You are welcome to use these, however all we ask is that you replenish what you have used either directly or in kind. The same applies to all books, maps, CDs etc.
Cancellation Refund Policy: If cancelled more than 45 days from arrival. A refund of 50% of payment received. If less than 45 days - 20% refund. If less than 14 days no refunds.
Low Season: 05 January to 16 March and from 1st tNovember o 20th December.
Mid Season: Rest of year.
