This modern 7th floor open plan apartment in the Eixample area is finished and decorated to a high standard - only a few minutes walk from the Passeig de Garcia,Barcelona's chic and most famous boulevard. The main living area has the benefit of air conditioning, TV, DVD and leads to a large terrace with incredible views over the Sagrada Familia, which is just a few minutes walk away.

With the Verdaguer metro station is less than 200 metres away, this apartment is perfectly located to enjoy everything that Barcelona has to offer.

Looking for a place to stay at the last minute? We welcome late bookings and will do our best to accommodate you. All that we ask is if we have to arrange the house keeper to meet you with keys, please advise us of your arrival time and let us know if at any time you are running late. A 20€ charge will be made for this meet and greet service.

Conditions

A one off cleaning charge of £39 is payable on all bookings. Rates are per week based on 4 sharing. A refundable security deposit will be taken. Special long term winter rates (off season) are available on request. Xmas, New Year and Easter are priced at £99 per night with a 3 night minimum stay. Terms and Conditions apply.

Eixample is a safe and residential part of the city but there is also a vibrant nightlife and a thriving café culture. Eixample is a beautiful barrio to wander round, take in the glorious architecture and people-watch from one of the many terrace cafes.

This part of the Eixample district has everything you need. Here you’ll find the historic Barcelona University building; modernist landmarks such as the Casa Golferichs; the Parc de Joan Miró, and two important food markets, the Mercat del Ninot and the Mercat Sant Antoni, which give vibrancy and inject life into the neighbourhood.

The property is situated in the 'Example' area of the city. Nearby is the Paseo de Gracia, one of the liveliest and most famous streets in Barcelona, where you will find a great selection of bars, restaurants, shops and famous buildings all the way from the start of Plaza Catalunya to the end of the Diagonal.

My partner and I had been to Barcelona twice before, staying in the Sants and Gracia districts. While we loved the "feel" of Gracia we both agreed that this apartment, with its stunning views of the Sagrada Familia, was the best we'd stayed in. This time we travelled with our 15 year old son who claimed he would love to live there permanently - his own little modern "bachelor pad". The roof terrace was stunning and we even managed to have breakfast outside a couple of times, a big bonus considering it was late October!
The apt provided everything stated and more. For example, we were greeted to a welcome pack containing Wine, Milk, Water, Cake and orange juice. If needed, beach towels were provided as was a flat screen TV, DVD's, CD's, cards and games which may have come in handy had the weather been bad.
Prior to leaving the UK, we were contacted by the agency who advised that the owner of the building had changed the lock on the main front door. They provided us with a contact name and telephone number. Catherine met us at the front of the building to hand over the new key - proving excellent customer service as, unbeknown to us, we'd arrived before the offical arrival time of 3pm.
Central to many sites and famous streets, there were many bars, bakeries, eateries in the location as well as a market selling fresh produce. Although busy and lively, once up on the 7th floor (lift provided!) we felt that we were in our own little Barcelonian paradise!!!
We all agreed that we would have no qualms about returning to Barcelona (again!) and would gladly stay in this lovely, clean, well maintained and spacious apartment!!!
