In a privileged situation, with spectacular views to the sea, to the mountain and the population, this magnificent detached house, in a very calm zone where rabbits and owls can be seen at night, it is only 10 minutes to Barcelona City (20 minutes to the Centre of Barcelona).
This luxurious house is 510 sqm and is constructed in a 1000 sqm area, and is surrounded by gardens, which without a doubt attracts the attention of the hundreds of birds that always cheer and relax their visitors. The swimming pool which is 7x4 metres takes a constant inclination from its entrance steps to the deep end at 2m, which is ideal for children and adults.
On one of the terraces, near the swimming pool, there is a BBQ and a great outdoor table where 12 people can eat outdoors. With a sophisticated and cosy decoration, the house has several options of entertainment for friends and family: fireplace, great dining room with table for 10/12 people, a game room with cine and a completely equipped private gym.

In the main bedroom there is an extra large king size bed and a restroom with a flat screen TV and direct access to the terrace with beautiful views to the sea and the mountain. A large dressing room with 3 great closets lead to the bathroom, majestically decorated with marble, Egyptian ceramics, an enormous mirror, shower and a Bath/Hydro massage.
There are 4 bedrooms more (02 with direct access to the terrace) and 02 complete bathrooms, all these, very spacious and elegant, that invite you to enjoy moments of relaxation.
On the last level there is a Fitness room which has a little bedroom with a double bed and a complete bathroom with bidet, toilet and shower for those who prefer some privacy.
There is also, one bathroom with shower on the level of the pool and one more in the garage.

It is only 20 minutes to the Golf Course of Vallromanas and 30 minutes to the Golf Course of Llavaneras.
Only 05 minutes to the precious Beach El Mas Nou, with excellent facilities for swimming, a club of navigation and an excellent seaport, restaurants, bars and discotheques.
In that same area, there is the train station El Mas Nou. All the trains have shut-downs in different points from Barcelona.
A garage for 2 cars with a toilet and shower.
By car, you can get to the centre of town in 3 minutes and find any thing you need (coffee shops, banks, gas stations, pharmacies, markets, etc). But, if you prefer, very close to the villa, there is a bus stop, with an urban bus goes each hour in direction of the town centre and the train station.

The Costa Brava/Catalonia region


Alella is a charming Mediterranean town, situated in Barcelona North Area, just 20 minuts of the Barcelona Centre, that has a economy mainly based of production of wine and cava.
Alella offers excellent wines, mainly whites, and some cavas (champagnes) of highest category. You can verify all this,if visit some of the many cellers that you will find there.
Distributed by its municipal term you will find masías (great houses, constructed, in the past, by families with agrarian or cattle operation) very interesting, that in some cases they are true small palaces. Good example are: Can Magarola; at the moment lodges a museum on the wine, and Can Lleonart, a cultural centre.
Their main celebrations are: The Grape Fest, in September, with wine samples and popular activities, and the Aplec of l'Arrós, in June, where a gastronomical festival of rice is made.
From Alella you can go to the park of Siera de Marina, with aerial views on all the region and Valleys. You can arrive until the Sant Mateu, by bike or car, since the highway that goes to Granollers. You can, even, make the route of Alella to Orrius, on Mataró. Forests and views over the Mediterranean sea, that I can not explain to you. You need to see that .
It is to 20 minutes of the Golf Course of Vallromanas, to 30 of the Golf Course Llavaneras and to 41 min of the Horse-Racing Club of Collserola
The proximity of Barcelona has not cleared the tranquillity to that pretty town!

Barcelona is a city full of energy, culture and beauty. Few cities in the world have known to combine leisure and work so well.
There are a important commercial and cultural activities throughout the year, where international fairs, exhibitions, great musical concerts and sport events are celebrated. And here, in this single city, if you come to do truism or to work, that both of them can be very pleasant, because with this wonderful weather, rich gastronomy, fantastic fashion stores, flamboyant culture, great football players and funny night, always there are reasons to know Barcelona.
Alella is just to 10 minutes of Barcelona City (20 minutes of Barcelona Centre), with its strategical situation, is possible to go to Barcelona so many times as it is necessary, but without resigning to the comfort, luxury and tranquillity of that spectacular villa.

I rented this villa for a summer break with friends and their little children. The location was in a residential area, very peaceful with great views to the Mediterranean. The town of Alella is a lovely typical Catalan town, it is a pleasure having a stroll and admire the early 1900's architecture ( Gaudi lived there temporally). It also produces it's own wine, so it's worth visiting and tasting the wine from the local cellars. It is not touristic orientated so you will not find the loud and tacky atmosphere from other places around Costa Brava, the proximity to Barcelona also makes it a great location. Although is not far from the town ( about 15 min walk) the house is on a very steep hill, so a car is needed for comfort, specially if you have young children. Some of the neighbours were not so tolerant with the obvious noise made by 8 adults and 3 toddlers enjoying the amenities in the outside area. Perhaps this is something the owner should resolve. The house is very well equipped and designed to host a large group, with plenty of toilets, multimedia gadgets and leisure areas. Perhaps not so ideal if you have more than one young child. There is hardly green areas for children to play and hardly any safety for toddlers. We had a fantastic and memorable time. In general this house will make a perfect holiday villa for adults only or family with older children ( teens or pre-teens). I would definitely book again if the opportunity arises. |
