In the very heart of Barcelona, the apartment is located in THE EIXAMPLE, a beautiful area that contains most of the modernist buildings. The Eixample remains mostly upper-middle class, characterized by fancy shops, restaurants and tranquil street scenes, yet its uniquely modernista character makes it a fascinating place to get to know. Nearly every architectural attraction from the turn of the 20th century is located in the Eixample: Las Ramblas, Paseo de Gracia, Sagrada Familia, Pedrera.
The apartment is serviced by excellent public TRANSPORT links. Just a short walk from the apartment is Sants Station and the AVE high-speed trains, which takes you to Madrid to the historical, Andalusia regions of Cordoba and Seville (other routes available). How to get there
STRATEGIC LOCATION. The apartment is located in central Barcelona, easily reached by road and is close to the airport, the port and the main railway station. The existence of a public transport system (underground, buses and trams) guarantees access to any part of Barcelona and its metropolitan area.
“Estació de Sants” (Barcelona Central Train Station) is 10 minutes away on foot, and it connects the city with the different peninsular and European capitals as well as the regional and metropolitan areas.
Additionally, Plaza España is a hub for public transportation, where you will find 2 subway lines and more than 20 bus lines including the touristic bus and the AeroBus (direct shuttle to the airport).
How to get to the flat from the Airport? - By TAXI: Barcelona has 11.000 taxis which are easily identifiable by their yellow and black colour. It takes between 15/20 minutes to reach the apartment. The ride should cost 15-20 €. - By AEROBUS: This special service is clearly identifiable as you will see its name written on the outside of the vehicle. You will find sign posts indicating the platform outside the Airport terminal. A one-way ticket costs around 4 €. You can buy the ticket in the same bus and pay it with a credit card. - AIRPORT TRAIN: Situated on the west part of the Airport terminal, offers you a train service every 30 minutes to / from Barcelona “Sants” train station where you can stroll to the apartment. - By CAR: From the airport take main road C-31 (Autovía Castelldefels) until you reach Plaza España. Turn left (Entenca) until you get to Roma Avenue. Turn left and the left again to go down in Vilamari Street. The apartment is located on your left in front of the bike lane.

LATE ARRIVALS: Arrivals between 21:00h and 23:00h have an extra charge of 25.00€, Arrivals later than 23:00h have an extra charge of 40.00€.
CANCELLATION FEES: Up to 30 days prior to arrival we refund 90% of the reservation fee (10% for bank transfer expenses). From 29 to 10 days prior to arrival we do not refund the reservation fee. Less than 10 days prior to arrival we charge 50% of the total amount of rent. Less than 48h or without cancellation will be charged with the total amount of rent.

Janine Adams. Aug 9th 09 I just came back from my Barcelona trip. I was staying in the VILAMARI apartment which was a brilliant experience. The stylish well funished apartment is located in a big street close to Sants Station, Gran Via, Plaza Espanya and Plaza Catalunya. It is close to the best shopping area. It is very quiet and comfortable, great to have a rest and sleep in all the bedrooms. Great location, walking distance to many barcelona sightseing places, in a safe and beautiful convenient area. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen which is very helpful, also has washer, flat tv and almost everything you need. I booked this fabulous apartment directly with Fiorella, the owner, who gave me a really great deal. I really recommend it.

Karen checked us in, she couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. The apartment has a beautiful terrace that faces to a huge light backyard. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and fully equipped with kitchen utensils, fridge, alarm clock, iron & ironing board, clothes hangers, flat TV, hot/cold bath tub, towels and linens, & a quiet air conditioning unit. The building is really nice, classic and modernist. If you arrive late at night, you have a restaurant just in the same building with good food. The area is safe and quiet, excellent transports links. You can walk to all the main attractions of the city. To sum up, a superb apartment in every way.

It was beautifully clean and quiet and although big the two of us were really fine and comfortable. The bathrooms are really cute, specially the small one. You can even choose between bathtub or shower. The kitchen is new and very well equipped and completely functional. You get towels, linens and all you may need in the kitchen. We would definitely return, we felt very at home there.
