Very central, quiet, two bed, two bathroom apartment in beautiful historic building. Fully restored with, wifi, satellite tv, aircon, all modcons. Very central location near Boqueria market, surrounded by great restaurants. Just two minutes walk to the Ramblas.The apartment dates back to 1876 and has all the original mosaic floors and moulded ceilings.

Barcelona is a fantastic city with a wealth of cultural, historic and night-life activities all within walking distance. The apartment is located a very short walk off the Ramblas in a historic, quiet street with many nice restaurants and tapas bars.

You can walk to virtually all the historic and cultural sights of Barcelona from the property: sights in the Medieval area, Gaudi's buildings in Paseo de Gracia and the main shopping area are just minutes walk. The famous Boqueria market is a stone's throw away if you wish to cook in the apartment or enjoy the market tapas bars. The contemporary art gallery and surrounding bars and restaurants are just round the corner. The metro is just a few minutes walk if you wish to go further afield.

The apartment looks on to interior patios so whilst there is no view it is very quiet at night, a luxury in Barcelona.

Please note that the apartment will only be let to couples, families or single travellers/business guests. We do not normally allow adult groups although please contact us if you think we should make an exception. Guests must be over 25, except children accompanied by their parents. The minimum rental is for three nights and the latest arrival time is 10pm. Arrivals between 10pm and midnight carry a 30 euro surcharge and it is not possible to arrive after midnight.

This is strictly a no smoking property. We will not return your deposit if it is obvious that someone has smoked in the apartment.

35% payment is made with booking by bank transfer or credit card (VISA/Mastercard)

Payment is: 40% with the booking by credit card or bank transfer, the rest on arrival in cash.

Some dates not shown on this calendar can be high season or extra high season - for example the World Mobile Congress in February, Formula 1 Grand Prix, other major sporting and conference events, certain bank holidays. Not all of these events have their dates announced at time of organising the rates calendar.

Prices include cleaning, laundry, provision of sheets and towels, tax (16% VAT which will be 18% from July 1st 2010) electricity, gas and water as applicable.

Please note that we do not accept all male or all female groups. Nor do we accept bookings from under 25s.

The booking must be made by the person paying for the booking - we do not accept bookings made on a friend's or parent's credit card for obvious reasons. Please do not ask for an exception.

No pets!

Due to the world economic crisis it is habitual for people to ask for "our best price". No problem! Maybe your dates will be super low season and maybe we can offer you a deal. However please note that our prices have been lowered for 2009 and are being maintained for 2010 so it's probable that we wont offer you a better price than quoted here, this is a good deal!

Finally we do have 12 apartments and if this one is not available we may offer you another one which seems to suit your needs, we hope you don't mind. Rest assured that as we have so many apartments we have a team of people to make sure that the apartments are well cleaned and maintained. We are very proud to have not had any complaints about cleanliness in seven years of letting. Maintenance problems can happen but are normally sorted the same day.
