About the home

The Masia radiates the rustic and restful ambiance of yesteryear. However, within its walls are all the comforts and luxuries you’re looking for. The Masia has SEVEN large suites - each one, charmingly different. Every room has it´s own en-suite bathroom, mini-bar, safe, TV and DVD. During the day relax by the large pool and at night, let off steam with a Turkish bath, sauna or Jacuzzi. And when you feel like the beach, the beautiful and popular beaches of Sitges are just minutes away. Also, if you´re looking for fall/winter activities the Penedés region is full of alternatives. Whatever your mood, a truly different holiday experience awaits you.

There are seven rooms at La Masia Casanova, three inside the Masia itself and four bungalows with private terraces and all have spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. All rooms have en-suites, mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities, TV and DVD. For the romantics amongst you, our premier room has it’s own fireplace and two person bathtub. All four of the bungalows have their own large private terrace with outdoor shower. And all the rooms are beautifully finished and unique in their own way.

The masia offers many amenities only available in 5 star hotels. A large beautiful swimming pool with teak lounge chairs for 12 people, large outdoor dining area with views to the pool and mountains, 6 person outdoor jacuzzi, separate steam and sauna rooms.

The Costa Brava/Catalonia region

In the south of Catalonia lies Costa Dorada, filled with seaside villages and long wide beaches. The Costa Dorada has become one of Spain and Europe´s most popular family holiday destination. Suitable for children and the elderly, it offers an ideal tranquil, restful holiday. The 20 municipalities that make up Costa Dorada stretch along a seacoast of 216 kilometres, with 786 hectares of extensive, clean, sandy beaches washed by crystal, shallow waters. Lying between the sea and the mountain range are wide open areas, home to tranquil villages and fields of crops ranging from vineyards and olive groves to carob, hazelnut, almond trees and vegetable-garden crops.

The Barcelona / Sitges area

The Masia is situated next to the Garraf National Park, which is ideal for hiking and mountain biking. The area also boasts several vineyards and wineries with many offering tours and wine tasting. Just 10 minutes, is the bustling social and beach life of Sitges and 15 minutes from a well-established 18-hole golf course.
South of Sitges is the historic city of Tarragona with its Roman amphitheatre and PortAventura with it’s rollercoasters, rides and Aquatic Park. Travel west and visit Montserrat’s Benedictine sanctuary with its famous Black Madonna. To the north, Medieval Gerona and Dali’s Museum in Figueres. Not forgetting Barcelona one of the hippest cities in Spain, which is only 30mins away by car or train.
