Villa Capricho is a beautiful holiday home in the middle of Garraf Nature Reserve Park which is a nature lovers paradise. Only 35 km from barcelona and of all its amenities The villa is situated in a small old town in the vineyard area of the Penedes.
There are 400 sq.metres of interior living space plus a large terrace that overlooks the beautiful large garden of 1700 sq. metres with grass and a swimming pool.
The 1700 sq. metre gardens are well landscaped with BBQ, swimming pool and play ground. The house is oreintated to the south meaning it has sun all day long.

What makes Villa Capricho stand out from the majorerty of other holiday villas is that not only does it offer a beautiful comfortable villa with a swimming pool and lots of sun in a very peaceful area, at only 35km from Barcelona one can take advantage of all the offers of a this unique city with its night life, nice restaurants, cultural events, Gaudi“s arquitecture, you can go shopping in the Paseo de Gracia with the designer boutiques, or maybe you want to find a bargain in the factory stores outlet of La Roca Village (www.larocavillage.com) and finishing the day going to see a football match at the Camp Nou stadium (we can get tickets if wanted). I think if you have done all that the day before, today would mean a peaceful day at the pool side and sun..... and if you are sipping a gin and tonic alot better.
If you come we children Port Aventura is very interesting (75km) www,portaventura.co.uk If you have gone to Port Aventura today , the next is a day to rest, and if you went with children then 2 days rest. When you enter the vila we will hand you a list with things to do of what will be happening that week and addresses that we think would be an interest to you, so that your holiday will be one to remember.... so you come back the following year.
Barcelona / Sitges area
The villa is 500 metres from a small town. There are a few restaurants that very typical Catalan food. There is also a butchers, a mini market, a post office, a bank, a couple of bars and an Irish pub.
There are many vineyards and there bodegas in the area which can be visited. Two world wide famous ones are Codorniu and Freixenet.
Through Garrafs park there are mountain tracks that take you to Sitges which has a long sandy beach and good restaurants where fresh fish is served.
Mountain biking is also very popular in this area as one can use all the tracks in the park. (Normally there are 2 adult bikes in the villa, confirm if bikes are wanted when booking is made). There are stables next to the villa, where one can enjoy horse riding.
There are tennis courts 5km from the villa. There are 2 golf courses near the vila. One has 18 holes par 72 opposite the beach (25km from the villa) . The other one has 2 courses, one has 18 holes par 73, for skilled players, designed by Jose Maria Olazabal, and the other one has 9 holes for average players. (34km from the villa) www.golfmasiabach.com. There are several sandy beaches starting from 19km from the villa.

Further details indoors: On the main floor there is a kitchen that is fully equiped, with an eating area. One of the lounges that has large windows that leads to the terrace, and a big fireplace. Next to the lounge there is a dining room that sits 8 people. This floor also has a bedroom with a queen sized bed, an on suite bathroom and a walk in wardrope. There is another bedroom with 2 single beds and their bathroom.
On the 1st floor there is a big lounge with a library with a tv projector where one can enjoy their favourite shows on satelite tv. It has a great fireplace made from real stone. There are 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each, a double bedroom and 2 bathrooms.
The bedrooms are a very good size and all have a fitted wardrope. Every room in this villa has views of the evergreens on the hills opposite.
Further details
30% deposit paid in advance within 8 days after reservation. By cancellation more than 1 1/2 month before 50% of the deposit will be refunded. By cancellation less than 1 1/2 month before, the deposit will not be refunded. The price includes: electricity, heating, linen, towels.
We have a 160€ one time cleaning fee.
DEPOSIT: 400 € to be refunded when leaving, if the house is left in good conditions.
Policies: BOOKING payment to hold reservation is 30% of the bill by bank transfer .
The remaining 70% of the bill is due on arrival day on CASH. We cannot accept any check-in without the full payment in cash as requested.
